Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I have a 2 and a half week old auto ( super skunk ) I have been combining sunlight and grow light. After being in the sun all day yest, I noticed something has been chewing on her. I have no idea what it was but have lost chunks here and there. Just wondering if anyone can advise on pest repellent?

I'm not 100% sure just by looking at the damage but I use a mix of peroxide dishwashing liquid and vegetable oil plus There's alot of different over the counter sprays that are just as good if not better. Lost coast, Green cleaner, mite massacre, neem oil all of these should work. There's other options like buying predator bugs to defend your plants ladybugs praying mantis and more
 
I don't see bug damage. I see possible nutrient damage. The spots are on the edges and leaf tips. You giving nutes to this little lady yet? Checking the ph of what goes in?

Personally My plants usually only get spider mites. Since I don't like using oils or sprays, I sprinkle a thin layer of Dimataceous Earth or DE (Food Grade) on the soil surface. It works pretty good...it basically fucks them up. Essentially since "DE" is already "dirt" it does not affect the grow but any bug that doesn't fly onto the plant must make it's way across the surface layer to get to the plant...effectively killing the pest/bug.

I first learned about DE use as a pesticide when my indoor cat got fleas. I started rubbing it into areas of the carpet where the fleas typically lay eggs or where the larvae will go when ready to hatch (dark places like under the bed or cracks in the floor etc.). It works...flea control is mostly environment and not zapping your pet with chemicals!
 
I'm also visiting the garden place today to buy a ph tester and some bug deterrent spray ( as natural as possible) so hopefully will fix my issues

If you want as natural as possible you can simply go buy fresh rosemary and soak that in water for a couple days literally and then just strain and spray your plants. Another one is Aritha nuts aka soap nuts 1/4 cup of the shells 16ounces of boiling water then just let it steep over night that will make 5 gallons worth. You can do the same thing as Rosemary with lavender, mint, thyme. So many more natural things and I bet if you read the labels on whatever you think of buying it’s going to have what I mentioned and only about 2-4% of it with the rest being water. So I would just make my own. Hope that helps.
 
Hey, thanks for the tips. I have rosemary on hand so I'll try that. Just noticed my smaller seedling has also been chewed. Prob best to grow indoors but I just can't waste the gorgeous sunlight this time of year! Hopefully both will recover ok.
