hey Ozbud what strain was it that gave you 20 zs holy crap Its hard to do that with photos and 2 plants I applaud your results ,Now me on the other hand I am shutting down my auto room for a couple of reasons ,Im getting 1 to 2 z a plant lots of dwarf plants to I took one the other day I got 3 joints from lol , I grow autos in dirt maybe that was my problem , IDK but I'm sticking with photos from now on , Also I need the room for outdoor grow

Online hydro store I buy from to save me a 1 hour drive to the poorly stocked local store. It's called the Elide Fire Ball. lasts 5 years then you throw it away (or into a fire) and get a new one. Works out to be less than $40 a year

Afghan Kush Ryder was the 20Oz harvest from 3 plants in a 2x4.
Sounds like you've been having a bit of bad luck with Autos, I'd be disappointed with anything less than 4oz per plant.

If I could get 2 oz per plant I would be happy lol The only thing I can think is that my lights were not strong enough 300 w 100 at the wall I had 6 in Auto room , I have some Afgan kush ryders almost ready I may get close to 2 z from the biggest sad really

Girls are 21 days old tomorrow, pics will come then. Girl #1 is beginning to show her private parts already and I can notice a slight smell when I walk into the garage now even though they're not flowering. My partner can't smell it though.

Morning OzBud, well ,you can get ready to be disappointed, cause your sooner or later gonna get an auto that you want get 4ozs from, I can promise you.Every now and then you are gonna get a dwarf,.or either a bad one.
I hope you don't ever get disappointed
though, but it's coming, if you grow enough autos.

I've tried everything I have heat pads with a thermostat controlling them room stays above 68 I must have gotten all the dwarfs for everyone else so happy growing all lol I truly believe it was the temps in the cellar the plants I started in Aug did fine and the plants that I just started are really going to town already bigger than anything grown this winter

Here's a quick look at the girls at 20.5 days. I'll take some more pics once I wake up a bit more and have some breakfast.

No topping or tying down, just simple leaf tucking & pot rotation.

I've dropped the nutes back to 50%. The girls were handling 80-85% strength but the drain EC was climbing every day so although they didn't object to that much feed they didn't need it.
Waiting until the drain/runoff EC comes back down to about the same as their feed then I'll slowly increase it again when the girls tell me they want it rather than me telling them that's what they're getting

not going to flush with one big watering, just water at 50% strength each day until the EC drops

I noticed something strange last night while leaf tucking. One of the girls has a side branch that has 3 leaves per node when the rest of the plant only has the normal two. I'll get a pic of it to show you.

Here's the weirdness mentioned in the post above all of these photos are of the same girl, girl #2 (I'm sure you've seen her in the credits of quite a few movies)
First photo is 3 leaves per node on a side branch.
Photo 2 & 3 is the same branch just the next node up at the top of the side branch.
Photo 4 is the main stem with 2 leaves per node
Photo 5 is a different side branch with 2 leaves per node.

I saw those fire extinguishers balls at my local hydro store last time I was there. The guy showed me a video of how they work, they’re like fire extinguisher grenades lol. So cool

haha yeah. When it's 5 year life is up I'll throw it into a fire to see if it still works so I can see it in action and find out how loud it is.
