Strain- Revolver - Auto flowering
THC 15%
CBD 0.1%
CBN 4.2% - Got this strain for this reason, for my wheelchair bound wife.
All water used is pH'ed to 6.0
Growing medium is 1/3 pro mix, 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 perlite.
2 gallon pots with rocks on bottom. Filled pot halfway with soil, watered a bit and mixed. Filled to top, more water and mixing but NOT saturated with water. Then germinate seeds. Add seedlings to soil and syringe watering very little around seed area. 3 days later seedlings emerge. Few days later more syringe-type watering around seedling and around the edge of the pot, to encourage root growth. One full watering with run-off in week 2. Week 3 watered with nutes- General Hydroponics Flora mix, 1/2 strength.
These pics are my girls 27 days out of the dirt. I watered them for the 4th time in 4 weeks after these pics, again with 1/2 strength GH. I also use organics. Killer Tea - bird/bat guano, worm casings and the like, as well as organic(no sulfur) blackstrap molasses. I have learned from my past few grows that these organics really make the buds plump up. They are also in a new home, 3x3 Gorilla grow tent with a G8 240 LED. Also have the 90 watt flower booster. The LED is not overly hot and provides enough heat to keep temp around 22 celcius. Tent has ventilation.
So by not overwatering ( I have learned that lesson) these ladies, they are looking pretty good so far.

Looking good! What are your plans for training? LST only? LST and defoliation? just let em go? Looks like you've pruned a few of the larger fan leaves to expose new growth sites but also like if you're going to start any LST you should do so soon...thanks for sharing,be nice to see how things progress!
 
Is this your first grow or are you an old hand at it? I don't like to give advice to someone who has been doing it longer than me. LOL Maybe remove a few more leaves and slightly bend the top cola over a bit and tie down. Do you know what the predicted germinate to harvest days is for this strain? That may dictate what you can and can't do to the plant at this time.

But like I said, they are the picture of health, so great work.
 
But they are only 4 weeks old. Shouldn't I let them try and grow out of the shadow and use the energy the fan leaves have. I say that cuz for the first 3 weeks I had the LED at 16 inches and they seemed to not be growing up too much. So 3 days ago I raised the LED to the maximum suggested by the manufacturer of 24 inches. In 2 days they gained 4 inches in the vertical.

No LST, just let them go and trim away anything unnecessary. First grow in this tent and first time using autos. Have more seeds, so I'll figure out for next time when to LST. Still on 18 - 6
 
Thanks for all your comments. Seed man says 7 weeks after they begin to flower they will be ready. 4th grow, 2 indoors in a not well ventilated area(I paid for that) and last summer outdoors. Outdoors I have a limited amount of hours on sun, when it is out. So an indoor controlled environment is the way to go. And my hands are 60 years old. hehehe
 
Canuck147_ will be good to see how this grow progresses. With the autos I had growing last time I experienced the same thing_ one plant was considerably lower than anticipated and very bushy because the nodes were so close together_ like a 1/4" in places! Thought that plant was gonna be only about 16" tall, but when I pulled the lights up so the larger photoperiod plants had enough head room, the short one started to stretch a bit so instead of using risers to get them all at the same level I just let the short one stay down until it began to catch up and then brought it in closer to the lights. When I went to 12/12 for the photoperiod plants (had both going at the sane time) the short auto stretched a bit more_ it was suppose to start flowering cycle then anyways, so maybe thats why it stretched at that time. The LED's I'm using are 400 watt (2 of them to cover the 15' square space and I started them at 36" from the seedlings and once they were growing well lowered them to about 24" and then down to 18-20" for the last month of flowering.
 
I always thought that liquid salt based feeds like the GH flora trio killed any organic activity in soil???
 
Thanks for that info ZigZag, helps a lot of what I was thinking. And yes, ZigZag blue is my choice to roll with. No kidding.
 
Zigzag, So you can do an auto on a 12/12 light cycle and still get good results. I always thought they needed to be at 18/6 or 20/4. In that range anyway. Did you get a good yield? did they take longer than what the strain was advertised at?
 
So during flowering you stop the GH trio and just use organics until the end?
 
OzBud, all depends on how much water they want. Will be using the GH intermittently, with regular water and the organics. Not about to give them more than what they need, I have had the root rot lesson as well.
 
If you don't mind me asking, why is your wife in a wheelchair? I'm curious to know why the cbn is important. I'm guessing for the narcotic sleepy effect? Could you expand on this a bit? I'm fascinated.
 
Cerebellum ataxia, takes away the use of her muscles - and yes it helps us both sleep. Couple of puffs 5 minutes before one hits the mattress, whoohoo.
