Odd Cotyledon brown spots

I noticed these brown spots to a greater or lesser degree on all my girls, and they are all only on one side, the same side.

They are 6 days old and under a 300w Hydrogrow @12", I give them 4 ml water with Rhizo Blast root booster (no nutes, just algae, 2 ml/gallon) into their rooter and 6 heavy squirts from my spray bottle into the Coco around the perimeter. I did notice that the rooter plug never seems to dry, like it absorbs the water from the surrounding Coco, but my clear cups show there is moisture (not accumulation, holes in bottom) all the way down.

2 tall girls are 3.5" tall and developed their 2nd set of leaves, 3 late girls are 1.5" and beginning to show the tips of their 2nd set of leaves.

As far as I can tell the regular leaves are fine, I have the close-ups posted of the 2 biggest brown spots, do the girls lose their Cotyledons like baby teeth or am I needing to adjust something?

Cotyledons do fall off like baby teeth but from my experience, not for several weeks.

Maybe be back off the light a bit. They've stopped their sprouting stretch it looks like.

All on same side, The light is directly above.

It was at 18" but the forum advised I should lower it because 2 girls were stretching. I will back it off to 18" again.

Ph of water is 6 but I didn't think to check coco ph, it is 50/50 pith/chips, I will do that today.

Agree with WeedPharma having switched to LED. So..I veg under T5s fluorescent s then use the LEDs for flower. Does your manufacturer recommend veg light height?

Oh just saw that they do.... my LEDs recommended 24 " for veg . With T5 s I can control stretching and temps by keeping the lights low. I realize no help..just sayin'

Wow, 24"
Not much room left in tent, I do have an alternate panel of 1w led's but all blue, could I veg using exclusively that?
