Northern Lights first good genetics grow

I will soon be starting my first real grow as I see it with good genetics. I purchased socket cords a few dbl. sockets and 6 23watt soft white cfl bulbs today to get ready. I have used my 600 watt mh light to start seeds each time and every time I've had stretching no matter what I do. If I start them out with the cfl bulbs how many nodes should I allow them to get before I switch to my mh light and hps?

I'd say 3-5 nodes. If your ballast is dimmable try 50% for a week and see how they respond. If they don't like it they'll let u kno
