Next Grow(and the one after that)

So I've been growing with garbage genetics now i have proper seeds, Got rid of the spider mites, the soil I'm using is 👍, my water source is reliable and a steady 6.5 +/- 0.1 pH, it's time to get serious! 💪
Specs Time All Blue Dream strain clones
Spider Farmer SF 2000 (bloom and veg)
Mars Hydro 600 (veg)
Nature's Living Soil amended with Fox Farm Happy Frog
ScrOG I'll be using 2 gallon buckets for SoG 1 gallon (height is an issue, gotta keep it low)
I'll be trying the ScrOG and the SoG methods. Trying to figure out which will be the best for me and the space in working with. I do like manipulating and messing with plants like my cucumber ladders lolol so i may like ScrOG more but for now to make up for lost time SoG might be better 🤷‍♂️

Anyways here's some pictures of some clones i took, the ScrOG grow that has just reached the rope and my last remaining(spider mite free) plant. The rest had to go. There were eggs i didn't want to risk it. Besides it was so stunted because of the mites, it wasn't worth keeping. Meanwhile the blue dream is looking lovely and very frosty.
The ones in the other room are mite free. I've been keeping them separate just to be safe. For the first ScrOG, i picked the 8 best positioned branches and i cut the rest and made clones. Those 8 will fill the screen at least halfway by the time the current bloom is done. Second getting cut and trained for ScrOG as well. I'll do the same, pick 8 branches and cut and plant them to complete my 8 plant SoG grow idea.

So change of plans. Going to do 2 ScrOG grows and only 4 or 5 1 gallon buckets for the SoG attempt. Don't have enough soil for 8 buckets don't have the money for more ATM so gonna work with what i have and go from there. Both ScrOG grows are looking lovely. The dark green leaves and rapid growth means the soil is just right. By the time Mama finishes blooming, these screens will be full. This ScrOG grow with 2 plants should result in some good yields. The SoG will just be a test grow to see how i like the method, although I think I'm going to like the screen. Just because you get to manipulate and you get to play around and do all kinds of weird stuff with the plant and I'm a big experimenter.

Mama Blue is doing really well. I've been spraying for spider mites and I've been making sure every day that I give every leaf a look over and I think I may have won the war. Divides are thickening every day. I see plenty of new bud growth. The leaves are finally starting to turn into their signature blue color. Lots of lovely good stuff happening there.

It's a little late but I'm going to do it time lapse starting from the second half because I wasn't going to sure if I was going to lose the plant or not to spider mites. But since I'm winning this war, I'm going to do a time lapse until harvest. Then with the other grows I'm also going to do a time lapse but I'm going to do it from the time I switch the lights to 12-12. Do a complete flowering time lapse that I could share with you guys after it's completed. Just more fun random projects and my obsession with weed.

February 8 vs February 21 🤩😍❤️. So much growth!!! I have about 27ish days left. Got my magnifying glass at the ready (although a bit early) to check the trichromes. Checked the drain water from my soil and it's a perfect 6.53 pH. Everything is looking good! For once!

The 2 girls in veg are competing. The bigger one is ahead by like 3 weeks but the tiny tiny clone that i didn't expect to survive is thriving and might even out pace the bigger one.

The twisting is going well. I stripped the bottoms of leaves so it's not wasting energy. In 2 weeks, i might be putting the bigger one to bloom. I need the space to start setting up the clones for my SoG attempt. By the time the ScrOG grows are finished the SoG should be ready for bloom.

So thankful after 2 years of struggling with crap genetics, I'm finally getting results that I've been hoping for since the beginning. Super hopeful for the future.

Someone got a friend to join in on the bloom! With the pre bloom stretch I'll fill the rest of that screen. Mama Blue has about 2-3 weeks left of bloom (67 days). When she's done, the 2nd ScrOG grow will be ready for bloom. Until those are finished I'm going grow the babies in the 1 gallon buckets for the SoG after both ScrOG or at least the first is done.

I also have secret stuff in working on. Silly and creative stuff because i LOVE experimentation. Doing new things or doing old things differently. I have ideas for light exposure experiments and reveging. I wanna know why leaf structure changes permanently after reveging. All sorts of mad scientist stuff lolol

Just a little update.
the first ScrOG grow is showing flowers! So many colas from this technique like wow.
Mama Blue is hitting 60 days on March 10th. I can already see the hairs turning orange, the trichromes in places are starting to get really milky white mostly on some of the lower branches. New hairs that are growing in aren't growing in straight they're coming in very curly and dense. The room smells like skunky blueberries. I'm very pleased after 2 years of struggling with bad genetics this might be my first successful grow. The screen grow should yield a lot more since I broke the plants dominance and fimed the top. Mama blue only grew with a 90° bend.
The ones in the other room are growing well. I might lose 1 clone. The little one on the right that's looking very yellow. All 5 cones were taken at the same time. 3 are doing great, 1 just started picking up (left) and the right one is still looking sad.

As soon as Mama blue is done blooming in going to put the 1 gallons under the bloom light. I'll let that second screen grow get massive before i put it under. Curious to see what the max is i can get from these 2 gallon buckets

Bootsy i did actually find some spider mites..... I mean it only takes 1 egg to get the cycle started i suppose. Nothing serious though. I'm more worried that they'll spread to the screen grow so I've taken steps to make sure they don't spread. It's only about 2 more days and harvest time!!

I've noticed the trichromes are changing. More and more are getting white... Or i think they are because they're getting more noticable. Regardless if it's totally ready or not it's getting chopped this weekend. I'm so worried the mites will spread again. I'm keeping the screen grow covered in D. Earth and spray with neem oil just to be safe. Once this one is gone i can calm down a bit. Next thing i need is a tent and another light. This way if i have issues like this, i can quarantine things better. I have a barrier and the fan blowing opposite the screen grow so it should be okay. They haven't spread to anything else so for now they're will contained and hopefully gone once i chop.

PSS CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THIS IS READY? I just took some pictures and when i zoom in on them it looks very white.... I'm blind as a bat on top of that color blind (mildly).

I see spider mite web at the top of the bud in pix #2. You are so close that you will have to make the call based on your desire for the color of the trichs. Looking good.

It’s hard to tell without a jeweler loupe but they look ready to me. I would chop this weekend and focus on getting rid of the mites before they get on the other ladies. Have you tried spraying a high camphor oil? I haven’t tried it myself but it’s a recipe from a trusted source. I keep my lavender and I do preventative sprays also rosemary is high in camphor. That or when you do Neem you have to do 3 to 4 sprays in a row and you have to use a surfactant I use soap nuts aka Aritha nuts. You have to mix the two in warm water and make sure it’s mixed in well and not separating or ot won’t stick to the leafs. Get top and bottom to the point where the leafs are completely droopy. When I doit I think I killed then this time but next day they are happy as fuck. Make sure you spray once like that every 72 hrs once again 3-4 times back to back.

Yeah I came home from work and I saw like three giant spider mites on one leaf and I'm like you know what I'm chopping today I am not going to risk them going on to the other screen grow and I'm not going to risk any of the other ones that I have in the other room because those are clean 100%.......

I saw the web too I'm glad somebody else noticed Ckbrew They were fine and under control but for the last like 2 weeks I haven't been spraying or doing anything because I don't want to mess with the flavor or with the buds and add chemicals and stuff.... So I think they've had enough time to bounce back so I'm definitely chopping tonight...

The diatomaceous earth doesn't seem to be working much I see the spider mites crawling all over it and they're covered with it and it doesn't seem to be doing much..... Needless to say I still added some more diatomaceous earth to the screen grow and I sprayed it down with neem oil.... Hopefully the little barrier that I had in between the two prevented anything from spreading...... If they did I'm going to keep on spraying until it's gone before I start getting any buds or actual flowers....... Everything that I have segregated in the other room is 100% clean..... I'm hoping that the screen grow that's starting to bud is also clean because I've really been heavy with the neem oil and the diatomaceous earth.

I still haven't smoked it and dried it and cured it but it looks more promising than anything else that I've had in the past... Considering when you squeeze the buds they're like rocks not like the ones in the past where they were like cotton balls.... I promise you guys the next screen grow and all the stuff I have planned in the future is going to be awesome and some of the ideas hopefully will knock your socks off.. because I plan on going mad scientist with this.
