Newly harvested buds

Tika, what is that net-thing you are using called? Where didyou get it so I can get one? I think something like that would be great in my tent when I'm ready for harvest.

Hydro stores or on line. Get open fronts...that way you can do oopsie buds or secondary drying..I love my nets! And thanks for checking in!!!!

I seek 62 but will settle for 65 and under. It is a constant burp and adjustment for a while but you can get there. Drying and curing is an art form you WILL learn..promis

So with those net-racks, you can hang off the sides for initial drying, then toss the buds into the basket for a bit more before storing in mason jars? That is engineering genius.

I do mine the same. If you pull on the small buds, I bend them vack against the stem, if they pop right off their ready. I normally let the end Colas hang another 24 hrs, unless I break them down in to small nugs. You will know, we'll I will know cause I test it in a joint.

Me either. Till I got a house, the idea that I could grow for myself never crossed my mind or entered my imagination. If I didn't find this site, it prob would still be just a dream.

If you feel it's dry enough to jar, regardless you still burp the jar a couple times a day the first week. If the feel damp again leave the jar open or pour on a piece of cardboard. The Caliber 4 Tika mentioned is a must, takes the worry out. I just got a couple lids with hydrometer built in, I will check these out with the caliber and see if they work well.

No Title

This is the new hygrometer i was talking about! Hopefully it works well! Only the Ideal zone on this thing is a little high for our use!

Sonny, I was looking at hygrometers on eBay yesterday, but couldn't make up my mind. Probably go back on site today and make up my mind. So many of them didn't have probes. You need one with a probe to fit in jar, right?

Not necessarily a probe. The calibers don't have a probe. They just want to be able to fit in the jar and be seen.
