Drunkin, we all worry a lot at the beginning, and sometimes we overthink it. You will get a feel for it, and remember: they weeds, they can put up with a lot of adversity!! I find the seedling stage to be very stressful cuz I'm a newbie too, but the more I practice, the better I get. My second germination went so much better than the first!. And getting the feel for how much water they need at the beginning has been a little difficult for me, too: you want the roots to emerge, but you don't want to overwater. I'm growing in a hydroponic setup; never grew weed in soil. But I tell ya, GWE website is where I have learned the most. So keep reading on it and looking stuff up. It's full of amazing information for both soil and hydro growers.
Also: you might think this is crazy, but treat your plants like children: talk to them, encourage them, give them love. I'm totally convinced that my girls thrive off the vibes I send them!!!
