The girls are put away. They're going to get 30 hours of No light and tomorrow morning they'll be chopped.... After seeing the blue dream I'M PETRIFIED I messed up the MAC1. So worried.
Look at how many seeds I found in like a gram of bud....... I'm glad I got this Govee projector to kinda distract me while I sit here and smoke on my failure...... Sighs....I really hope it's isolated to that area in praying it's isolated....ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™

I guess I'm gonna be setting up the other window planter and planting a redemption blue dream outside.. Is my favorite cultivar...it peeves me so much that it had to be the blue dream that seeded out on me...blargafargahblargh

The 2x4 is really cool when you look at the Tangie like two or three days before I cut her down her leaves just started curling like it was the most perfect timed cut. It was neat to see

I have GREAT NEWS!!!! The MAC1 IS SEED FREE!!!!!!!!🥳ðŸ¾ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰
OMG I was stressing so much about that MAC 1. The Blue Dream is a TOTAL loss..... She's all seed just about everywhere. I only found 2 seeds in the MAC1 on the branch that was closest to the blue dream. I squeezed SO man buds and everything was soft. The coolest part is the THC is like a sandy texture almost. But it's not brittle It's like sticky sand. So weird I've never trimmed any bud that had that kind of texture.
I'm so thankful that the Mac 1 did not seed up on me. So thankful OMG. After trimming her the WET WEIGHT 338g. Now I'm sure that will go down as she dries. I'm guessing around 140g maybe 180g but I notice the dry weight is about half of the wet weight. Bluey some were about halfway up the arm but 3 of the colas were as large as my whole hand!!
The Pineapple Express actually surprised me. WET WEIGHT 400g 😱 between the Mac1 and Pineapple Express there's 1.6lbs wet weight. I'll have about 3/4 of a pound just between the 2 plants and there both SEED FREE!!!!!!! ðŸ™ðŸ™
The Cannatrol is full to the max wet capacity it can handle. If it the past is anything to go by then in about 6 to 7 days I should have smokeable weed. Right now she's at 67% RH but that's because everything is fresh. It could take about 24hrs for the unit to come "on-line". Probably less since I did trim a lot back.

I ended up with about .3g of scissor hash 😉 my trimming treat.
The roots on the pineapple were huge. Look at those suckers! Beautiful! She had so much potential. I just under fed her but wow she's a yielder! 400g wet trimmed bud and those colas are all HUGE . There's a few smaller large buds but look at those 3 trays of the Pineapple Express. Those are some huge sativa colas that actually smelled like FRESH PINEAPPLES but ONLY when I started trimming. Before then the smell was unimpressive but a few cuts in and I felt like I was in Hawaii 🤣🤣. She wasn't a looker on the stalk but she really impressed me.
As for the 2 seeds I found in the MAC1.... I'm going to keep. a MAC1 x Blue Dream cross might be interesting 🤔 if I have a female seed. Any seeds I find in the Mac in going to keep but the Blue Dream seeds..... If anyone wants some some Reg Blue Dream seeds.... I'll send you the WHOLE batch for free. 200+ seeds if anyone wants them otherwise they will become sprouted seed tea for my next auto grow. I'm going to sprout all of them in some mulch and then blend the hell out of them and feed them to the next plants. 😈 Get some of that seedling energy to the ones that will be fruitful.

Blue Dream... I didn't weigh... Didn't care to.. But I got 2.3g of okay RSO. 🤷â€â™‚ï¸ After watching the videos, she was ready to come down by day 50. I never had a blue dream finish that early.... Super unexpected but that's life.
The Tangie after curing tastes more earthy with undertones of orange. It's interesting how it tastes the way the soil smells at times You know the one.... Smells like the whole forest in a handful. With a hint of orange gas
The MAC1 has the weirdest smell of butter and strawberries 📠Still has that sandy texture and the high ✈ï¸âœˆï¸. Woooo really energizing
The Pineapple Express was underwhelming the whole grow because I underfed her but after the trim and cure, I can't find many buds that are smaller than my palm. EVERY BUD IS HUGE!!! Not only huge but SOLID. It smokes like pineapples and garlic knots??? Gets you super happy. Totally sold on this one. I'll have to regrow her in the near future.
I made out with 230g of really really good bud and only after an 8 day dry and cure with the Cannatrol. I'm impressed with this thing..... It's def not worth the $2000 price tag but hey we put up the wall 🧱 I fulfilled my end of the bargain. I even left a message on the inside of the wall 🤣🤣 because why not?
I'm going to be smoking good for a bit. It's just going to get better and better as it continues to cure.

Can you compare the cannatrol to a standard dry and cure re time saved? Eg. Would you say 2 weeks in the cannatrol is worth a weeks dry & 4 weeks in jars? I know it's subjective but what do you reckon?

Honestly Bluey that's a good question. The price is high but you can also ask yourself, how much is peace of mind worth to you? I think that's my highest selling point. I have a small space to try and work with. I don't have to "settle" on medium ranges for "good enough" results. I can keep a conveyor style grow going and have optional levels for each stage of the process. That is evident in the bud. When I pack my vape and take a hit, it's just flavor heaven.
The peace of mind it provides is worth it. I can be confident that no matter how early it late a plant finished, I can always guarantee a proper environment to preserve my hard work.... Next I have to work on my trim 😅..... Now that's there's actual nice buds to trim up

I had it inside on the shelf where it continues to reside. The numbers were pretty similar to what the Cannatrol was displaying. I'm going to trust the $2000 Device a little more than the $20 Govee ones that I've had to adjust and calibrate. But even so the data was only off by a 1% at most.
It claims 1 pound of wet flower for curing. But you can store up to 2.2 pounds of already dried and cured buds which makes sense. By that point, the moisture can easily be maintained. I also have electrical data on the Cannatrol. During the dry cycle it will use the most energy. 70w. If you have a cool room to begin with and maintain humidity then electrical usage drops to about 35w. Once it's in storage mode, it sticks to about 30w - 25w at night. Pretty low electrical usage 1kwh per day during dry, 0.90kwh per day during cure and finally consistent around 0.77- 0.80kwh during storage mode.
I am going to just cut whole branches off and dry like that and then trim on the next run. I'll see if that does anything different. I don't like hanging to turn the buds because they did get flat spots on the ones I missed or accidently fell back over. Maybe some branch cushions next time? At least for the first few days when it's most crucial.
