Officially this starts Bloom!

It's been 1 week since I flipped to bloom. Now I can start counting flowering days. The plants have sensed the change and the stretch has started. I've been busy with the LST and clipped some fan leaves to expose more sights. The nets are up and ready.... I'm not going to weave like I normally do but rather use it as a guide for the stems.

The pineapple Express, I bet will be a 5ozer. She's a BEAST! Last plant that was this big for bloom was the white widow that gave me 5oz of flower. She's huge, bushy and growing mad. I'm noticing some red stems (as always 😑) when she started going into stretch. I sprayed her with cal mag and next watering in making a castings tea with castings FROM MY OWN WORM BIN!!!🪱💪 It's 4 months old and THRIVING!! Last feeding I found a Wormgy the size of a tennis ball so they're happy, healthy and horny.

Only for the Tangie because auto.
The Tangie is doing fantastic. Flowers popping up everywhere. She hasn't started to stretch much yet .... I'm hoping she gets a bit bigger. (I think this is the last time I'm ever transplanting an auto I get so much better results when I direct sow. As far as photos go I don't mind I could still transplant that, I'm just not going to use a huge container like that again. At least not without my baskets)
She's mean and green and starting to smell like oranges. Hopefully we're not going to have another repeat like the Mandarin. It was smelling like oranges the whole entire growth through and after drying and curing it just tastes like grapes there's no orange terps to be found.... I don't know where all those orange terps went.🤷‍♂️

The Mac is doing okay. She's def the runt. I would have really liked to give her another week to grow before I flip her into bloom but that just wasn't possible. So I'm not expecting to get much out of her maybe an ounce or two. Still excited about her. I remember when I tried some good Mac and I've been dying to have some again.

The Blue Dream is doing great as always. I haven't grown a bad blue dream yet. No matter how much I abuse her, I still get some great results and great flower. I'm already out of my last blue dream so I'm eager for more!

My oyster mushrooms are just about ready to start pinning. The seed spawn jars have gotten their first signs of fluff and the pineapple kombucha that I made a few days ago is also gone ....I still have 7 more days before the next batch is ready..... Everyone loved it so much I sold each bottle for 5$ ......I made a whole $30 which helped pay for some of my cancer meds. It's all working out pretty well. Soon the SCOBY is going to be big enough to split into 2 SCOBY's and I'll be brewing 2 gallons at once. I even dedicated a whole cabinet to it lololol. Ever since I started drinking it I've been feeling so much better with the medications wiping out all the microbes in my intestines I wasn't able to absorb nutrients from my food. Then I started with the kombucha and the keifer and I went a whole month without getting sick. That's a HUGE success. Because all those hospital visits are super expensive. I'll never pay off my hospital debts before I die.

Anyways, The Dropbox has been updated with the most recent weeks videos for your enjoyment. Feeling we're going to see big flowers starting to develop and it's going to be awesome to get it on camera.

Happy growing friends! 🪱🪴🍄

I must have pocket posted that lololol. I started writing it out then I went to go take a nap and I must have fallen asleep and posted it

Yeah it's been 7 days since I flipped so that's usually when I start counting. Some people start counting as soon as they flip but I've noticed that when I do that I'm usually like a week or two past the "breeder recommended flowering time". So I let them have that 7-day transitional period

Man oh man... Another week already?? This week... Keep On Brewin'. ..... Is the theme. Lots of tea!

We are on day 49 for the autoflower Tangie and we are starting week 2 of bloom (3 weeks since flipping) for the other 3 photoperiods.

Humidity 55% - 58%

Let's get into it with the Tangie. She looks like she's done "stretching" but she's got plenty budsites and she's flowering strong💪 she's got nice colors on the leaves and if you see in the time lapse, she's praying for light on the daily! She's one happy auto that's over halfway done? If the 70 day flowering time is true then she's got 20 days to go. Tonight she's getting some castings tea with 2 tbsp NLS Flower Power and castings from my own worm bin🪱!! That should give her everything she needs until harvest.

The pineapple Express..... Like I said...a beast! I don't even need to train this lady because she filled out that whole 2x2 area by herself. I'm so proud of her 🥰 She looks like she could use some food so I'm going to top dress with a little NLS Autoflower(because dammit I gotta use it somewhere) and the castings tea that's been brewing. That should hold her over until harvest as well.

The MAC is still the runt. She's looking better on the time lapse. Finally getting some speed in growth but not much. Just did to much harm with that transplant. Oh well. It's cool on the stalk, You could see where the stunt happened and then when the stretch started it's too bad those nodes in between where the stunt happened didn't stretch then she would have been fine.

The Blue dream is a big ol starfish. Huge leaves, great growth and she's happy. She's the one in the Gaia Green experiment. So far for Veg.....Gaia Green is 🔥🔥 but then they also have it the easiest with blue dream..... She'll grow in anything. I'm glad she's doing so well..... My favorite cultivar and my favorite smoke. Can't wait to have more.

All but the MAC have THICK stalks. The pineapple and blue dream are like tree trunks!! They're going to have some good yields. The self watering bases are working like a dream. I'm coverted..... Bottom watering wicking ONLY! So easy, you can't over and under water.. Gravity and physics do the heavy lifting. Especially when growing in living soil like I do..... This is a godsend! I throw on some mosquito bits (BTI) on top and they keep the gnats at bay while keeping the microbes happy. I still need to test the Coco out more but peat is here to stay for sure! The soil from my earth boxes are in bins and I seeded them with worms to get the soil ready for my next grow. 2 plants 1 per tent per earth box..... How big will they get? 🤔🤔🪴. How big can get get?

I made more kombucha, my mushroom seed spawn is colonizing, my worms are fed, fed the SCOBY, my mother gave me 3 cuttings of some African Violet, brewed and watered the plants with castings tea..all is well for once. The Mandarin and UG are 🔥🔥🔥 especially that UG. Talk about a surprise out of left field. These were freebie seeds and they've moved up to my top 10 list. That cherry frankincense gassy taste is EVERYTHING!!! I'm a little disappointed in the Mandarin It smelled so much like orange and it just lost all of those orange terps. So disappointing. It tastes like blackberries rather than cherry. I did notice though that I probably bagged it too soon I probably should have dried it maybe for another day or two but it's still smokes well not as good as the UG.

In 10 more days the Girl Scout cookies will be ready for sampling!!! So there's another one in dying to try. Just keeping busy and thinking up new projects. That heated cabinet is PACKED with all my hobbies. Health is getting better, so it's making me want to do more things. I think that kombucha is really doing what it's supposed to be because I even started doing light exercises to try and lose weight.....I haven't had energy for that in a long while....... All about that fungus, yeast, bacteria, plant life (and other helpful microorganisms). Nature knows... Nature got that shit figured out.... It's fun to tap into that energy.

Anyways....linkie for the thingies in the comments ABOVE (link still valid). Happy growing y'all 🪴🪱🍄

My worm bin🪱 is 4 months old!!! I used half cup of castings from the bin in my castings tea. The worms are doing great and they're happy. The next grow in the Earth boxes will also have half gallon of castings added from my bin. By then it'll be 6 months old and the castings are going to be ready for harvest. So I'm not going to take all of them out, I'm going to seed more trays. I put some worms into the soil in the pots and the soil in the bins waiting for the next round... Just going worm crazy. I'm liking this water only grow method.... Lazy gardening is totally for me because I can have way more hobbies🤣🤣. I can also stay high longer and have more delicious flowers for half the effort.....I mean for peats sake.... The pineapple Express practically trained herself into a perfect 2x2 square...... LAZY GARDENING FTW!!

I put the root ball from the Mandarin and UG into the worm bin. All that's left is a stump the size of my thumb.... They ate everything else. Just amazing... Not to mention all the predator mites in there, protozoa, all sorts of fungi and bacteria all working together. Plus it's fun to poke the worms. 🤣 They always do a wiggly dance for me 😭🪱🪱.

If all this works the way it's supposed to....I have enough material and seeds to grow for the next 3 years with only the cost of electricity and water.....I won't need to spend a single penny on anything. Just straight reward. It took a bit of money to invest into getting all the stuff. From tents to fans, lights, nutrients, soil, pots, climate control and everything in between.... Probably around $1500-$1800 ish over 3 years..... But I've gotten at least 3+ pounds so far...... And the best grow was my last at a WHOOPING 15.8OZ total off of 4 plants!!!! 😱😱. I'm hoping to break that pound with this run..... That Mac got me worried but it's fun. I'll break the pound and maybe I'll even break 1.5 pound off 4 plants. The sky is the limit. And the soil my ground. 🫡🙏

Also the 3 African Violets that joined the family. So interesting they root from a leaf cutting. From what my mom told me, they root super easy. Should be purple, red and pink of they all make it👍

Hey I got a question
Bluey or SoOrbudgal can y'all do me a favor? Look at the pineapple Express..... Anything stand out besides the red stems? She's been growing really slow. She shot out like a bad out of hell and now she looks limp and light colored. What threw me off the most was the watering. It's been 10 days since the last watering and there was still water in the tray. I've watered the Tangie 3x in that time 3 gallons. The Blue dream even the Mac has had 2 watering in that time..... The pineapple is the biggest, she should be water hungry. I did give her a top dressing and some castings tea as well as a little cal mag in the water. She's looking a "little better" maybe..... My vision is so poor and the color blindness doesn't help anything. Just wonder if I'm missing something. Because I look at the tangie and she's getting 1150ppfd and she's STILL begging for more. Shit even the MAC decided she's got something to prove.

I know I've heard or read somewhere or something about pineapple Express being a finicky cultivar but I don't remember what it was that it needed. I just remember that strawberry cough likes a lot of magnesium lolol that doesn't help me with this

Where's the pic #3?

I have zero knowledge of genetics re pineapple express but I saw the film if that is helpful. Sounds to me a root problem but I'll check the pics as soon as you post em

I'll get pics when the lights come on at 9pm. I meant from the ones I posted above and in the Dropbox W6 2x4. Just looks sluggish compared to the others. She was doing the best and.... Now that I'm mentioning it it's 3 weeks into bloom and she's acting funky. Might need more calcium.

Well i'm not sure what photo she is but i've looked at all the above a few times and blew them up so i get a better look. I have a light greenish/yellowish Slurricane yep the biggest of the bunch. I've tried feeding it full strength bloom nutes 2x and given her bat & fish poo juice she still is that color but seems happy. But she does dry out within 4days now that she's in flower, yours isn't yet.

I use you know just a fan on a stand outside to blow the stagnint air when i open the tent when lights go on and i leave for a hour then turn it off. Winter is challanging for sure, but your plant sure looks healthy and setting up to bloom maybe? Have you got her set now at 12/12? I don't know why phenos of same strain look different when they grow and all's the same? Maybe try feeding her a tad bit more she might just be a bigger more hungrey nitro gal? Fella let's not talk about vision man oh man i don't even drive at night anymore if i don't have too.

Here's photos I just took..... She's looking a little yellow (not helped by the yellow diodes in the Viparspectra lights). She looks a little better than a few days ago.....I think she might have just been hungry? It's been almost 2 months and she's been on water only diet. Even in an organic soil, 2 months is a good time to break down most nutrients in the soil. Maybe I just stretched it a bit too far? Still a new soil recipe to me so not sure how much battery it's got.

I gave her half cup top dress of that NLS Autoflower soil and I did a castings tea 2 days ago so hopefully in the next few days improvements because look at that Tangie...... My lord. She's getting 1200PPFD that's 51 DLI 😱😱😱. And she's begging for more!!! Even in the time lapse she doesn't drop her leaves until like 20 minutes before lights out... I might be giving Coco another look lol. If I put a photo periods in that...I might get a tree! I just watered them yesterday too (well filled the bases) and the tangie already drank more than half of gallon...

2.5 weeks since I flipped and we got mini buds on all the rest of the girls. Even the MAC looks like she wants to come out and play.

Some bottom leaves. I think she's just hungry. I'm glad I have her the nutes a few days ago. She's already perked up a little and I have a feeling I'm the next few days she's going to pick back up again. I put cal mag in the water. I fed all the plants expect the Tangie. I think she's got plenty of everything she needs. I suppose after almost 2 months, the battery might need a top up. I'm so glad that blue dream is just fine......I know I day or everytime..... Just love that flower.

I lose the bottom leaves on a plant or two as they get hit quickly the moment your a bit light on nutes but it's a great indicator as to where you are at earlier on in the grow. I also pour nute mix all over them which does not help with their health.

She looks like one of my slurricane who's a heavy feeder i'm just cautious about overfeeding but i think i'm going to increase the N portion abit more for her only along with some bloom today. I get those dots in front of my vision at night from those LED headlights and i just don't do the driving i won't stray to far from home city is OK but no country roads.

I'm usually not up this early but I did it just for the pictures....

It's 5 minutes before lights out and the tangy is still praying after a whole night 51 DLI and she's still praying.

I did notice last night the leaves on the pineapple have perked up. I think all she needed was some food. Probably do one last foliar spray tonight. They all have buds starting to form so

And I know the nutes are being decomposed because it smells like fish and shit in there. You don't notice it as much when the lights are on because of the heat and the warmth of the air but once the lights go off and it cools down in that room you get all the smells. Terpenes dirt and plant matter
