New year, New Projects, New New

Brother my best time is 0420 a.m. I love sitting outside listening to the noises and i see the night critters roaming around. I watched a rabbit following a cat the other morning i'm not lying LOL yes it was a domesticated one and huge. Sorry back to your topic..........good to hear the pineapple express enjoyed her meal and perked up.

SoOrbudgal yeah I'm glad she's looking better. She's def the lightest color of them all.... But she's also the biggest of them all. By Monday I should defoliate .... It's going to be 3 weeks since the flip. They've pretty much almost finished the stretch.

I'm def not a morning person. My plants don't even wake up until 9pm lol but that's because cheaper electricity and better temps. Even though I'm in the city, I still see it of critters. We have lots of wildlife around us so I've seen some odd couples. Also thankfully, I live alone so no worried about the smell..... (Well besides me and my bloodhound nose). Don't have to worry about anyone messing with all my projects and hobbies. My folks don't live too far away. I get the sweet deal of free rent for being a building super. Not a bad deal considering ppl are paying over 2k for a 1 bedroom apt

Now we're blooming! It's Spring!

It's been 3 weeks since I flipped to 12 hours. I gave the plants a defoliation and top dressed 3 of them. They've also all formed budlets. It was only 7 days since I saw the first V shaped petals to little flowers. 👍 If they grow at this rate, I'm gonna have some nice flower!

The pineapple is still looking a little hungry. I top dressed her about 7 days ago and she improved but could use some more food. I think she's just a heavy feeder so I gave her some Gaia Green amendments 3Tbsp All purpose and 3Tbsp Power Bloom into the topsoil with some bokashi to get all that broken down nice and quick. Watered in with some 1/4 dose Recharge. I also planted some cover crop. The topsoil is just looking much better in the pots with the cover crop. It also helps keep it moist so the breakdown of nutrients can happen.

The Tangie is on fire!! She's flowering like crazy. Super long white petals on her, the flowers are thickening up really quickly. She's on day 58 of life. She's easily going to be a 90+day plant but man at this rate, she's going to be HUGE! She already smells like oranges. I love how terpy this cultivar is!

The Mac1 really stretched! I was worried she wouldn't reach the net but all of the main stems have breached the net. Some branches have been even bent over because they got so tall. I defoliated her as well. Since she's lanky, I pulled all the lower bud sites that wouldn't get much light. I left only the top 1/3 portion of the plant. Hopefully she'll grow some gold ball sized nugs since she'll have less to focus on.

The Blue Dream as always is SMOOTH SAILING. Easiest cultivar to grow. I defoliated her and did some LST on the higher branches. 7 days since the first flowers and she's already got huge budlets. I can already see that she's going to be massive!! Calling it 3.5oz+ for her. The more the better.

My oyster mushrooms started pinning and fruiting so I'm doing a time lapse of that as well. Everything is in full bloom just in time for spring 🌼🌱
We got 45-55 +/- days left for the photos since they're all 60-70 days flowering time.
The Tangie maybe around 30ish days +/-

So the autoflower grows for a similar length of time as these photoperiods. In that same time, the auto will grow 2-4oz of flower while the photo will probably give you 3-8oz(or more depending how long you veg). Not to mention some ppl run 24 hours light for autos. The electric bill must be crazy. I only do 12 hours for my auto because the photo next to her needs only 12 so I have no other choice but she's still getting the DLI she's needs in that 12 hours.

Like always the last week's compilation is in the drop box under W7. Happy growing friends🪱🪴🍄

I found some lemon cherry x gelato bud in a dispensary so I bought it to compare it to my UG since it's got lemony, cherry and jet fuel profile. Very similar in smell and taste but mine blows it out of the water. I picked the biggest dispensary bud and picked a random top bud from the UG. The dispensary should be buying from me lololol my bud is SO much better and I'm not one to brag but like dang they charge 55 to 60 an 8th and it's trash. It doesn't even take much to grow really good stuff so why sell garbage for primo prices?

Some top shots of the girls. Enjoy

You could definitely tell something is up even just by looking at the thumbnails she keeps getting lighter green and lighter green and more yellow looking. I put some of the NLS auto flower nutes. I gave her a week and during that week it just seems like she got more yellow. So two days ago I gave her a decent helping of the Gaia green nutrients. Let's see if that helps. She's praying she doesn't look unhappy she just looks hungry... Like really hungry. I don't want to overdo it either and then end up with nutrient burn but at the same time I don't want to underdo it and then have an underperforming plant when I know she's got the potential to do something great.

I ended up putting like 20 worms into the pineapple Express pot. They burrowed right away because they don't like the light..... Even though they don't have eyes to see the light lololol if there's something wrong with the roots, they'll resolve that situation in the next few days. I also added some of the GH CaliMagic (because it's a nitrate and she needs that nitrogen) into the water in the base. Let's see what happens. I have more faith in those worms than most of the other products.

The Down Time Cometh

VPD 1.14kPa
CO2. 800ppm
1000-1280PPFD
47-52 -ish DLI @12hr
Total Day 63
Bloom 21 days/28 since flip

It's that time! 21 days into bloom, 28 days since we flipped to 12hrs. The plants have been defoliated and they have been given their top dress of phosphorus releasing bacteria and food for them to process. Now it's time to sit back and watch the flowers get swole! I planted some cover crop in the pineapple and the tangie. I noticed it's helping keep the topsoil moist in the other 2 pots. Plus I seeded the pots with worms, I want them to have the organic matter that they need and want to survive. I removed the net. It wasn't serving any purpose this time. The plants didn't stretch too much. All it was doing was blocking the light.

First off the Tangie! Tangie tangie tangie.... My my my... She's on day 62 and she looks like she's still got some way to go judging by all the new petals shooting out all over. She won't be done by day 70 but maybe by day 90 or 100 for sure. The side colas are already as tall as my thumb and twice as thick, meanwhile, the top cola is as big as my whole fist and just as thick!!! She's frosty AF. If you tap her, the whole room smells of orange and fuel. I'm gonna need to get some more seeds of this cultivar. Now that I know what she likes, I can really try to push her.

Second up is the pineapple Express. I think she's finally starting to pick up some color. She's flowering nicely and she's praying daily but still looking a little in the lighter side over the past 3 weeks, I have given her a top feeding each week and it's still not enough!! I gave her the rest of the NLS Autoflower super soil. It helped so I gave her 4Tbsp of Gaia Green All purpose and 4Tbsp of Gaia Power Bloom, 1Tbsp Glacial Rock Dust and 1 of Basalt Rock Dust. I have also started giving her the GH CaliMagic cal mag in the bases. 1ml per 2L I don't want to give her a full dose because it might be too much magnesium. I hope the extra nitrogen is helping. She's huge, she's got a huge stalk.. like a tree.... She's got lots of flowers. She probably needs food.
She's drinking water again. Takes her 3 days to go through 2 gal.

Third is the MAC. She's FINALLY finished stretching. While all the other plants were starting to flower, she was still stretching. You can see the top nodes got SOOO long. She's def a stretcher. Good to know for the future. They make for good scrogging plants. The flowers aren't building very quickly but they're coming along. The way I trimmed her, there's only 4 to 5 flower sites on each stem so hopefully they'll get chunky. Everyone got a top dress of the NLS Flower Power so that should get the flowers going. It's a good inoculant for phosphorus producing bacteria and gives them the food they need. I still have enough to last me 2 more grows and I'm not about to throw it out.

And finally the Blue Dream. She's full steam ahead! Those flowers are forming so quickly. She's only 3 weeks into bloom and already forming domes and second layers. The spacing is pretty close between the buds so it's possible that they'll turn into big giant buds. Always an easy cultivar to grow that give back. I trimmed her up nicely so there shouldn't be any larf on her. Super excited about her. She's going to be a winner!!

This is boring time. Just water and watch grow. At this point I'm not going to load the pineapple with anymore nutes. I don't want to overdo it on the nitrogen during bloom. Besides she's focusing on flowers not leaf growth. I have her plenty top dress for the amount of soil that's there. The other things I'm happy about is the LACK OF GNATS!!! Those shitty castings I got on Amazon were such a long battle to fix. Finally I don't have any adults and no babies. I just sprinkle some mosquito bits on the top soil; that's it! The moisture from the soil releases the BTI from the bits into the soil preventing and gnat babies from taking hold. Just in case any adult gets in and wants to lay babies. It's so nice I can leave my tea uncovered and not have a fly in it instantly 🤣
To keep busy, I'm going to be amending the soil from the Earth boxes. I put worms in there too eat up all the root matter and process any other food in there. I need to add neem, help, crab, alfalfa meal, insect frass, ag lime, oyster shell, dolomite lime, gypsum, basalt, glacial rock dust, langbeinite and rock phosphate. Some charged biochar, humic acid and castings from my worm bin a little perlite and some fresh peat to replace any that has broken down. It will have a month to sit around and have the worms decompose everything. Then it'll go back into the earth box for my summer auto grow. Sweet Zombie (because it should be dried and cured in time for Halloween) and some purple gelato. 1 SEED, 1 EARTH BOX, 10 + GALLONS OF SOIL. I'm going to direct sow, so I'm expecting then to get HUGE!

Week 8 time lapse link will be in the comments. From now on the time lapse will get boring. It's hard to see flower grow compared to foliage.
Anyways Happy Growing and Happy Easter 🐰🐣

I don't normally like to flex because I strongly believe in being humble but God dammit I can't help it with this one. I have a Cannatrol Cool Cure Device on its way to me!!!😱😱😱.
My best friend needs his kitchen redone. It's falling apart and I'm pretty sure no one's done any work on it since the house went up in the 1950s. So it's going to be a complete demo. He was going to have some professional renovators come and they gave him an estimate of 20 to $25,000. I told him I would do it for 5k as long as he got the materials. So I won the construction bid!!! Today I got an email from Cannatrol saying We processed your payment and we're getting your order ready..... I'm thinking what order??? I surely didn't order anything from there because I don't have the money for anything that they offer.... So I look at the billing information and sure enough it's my best friends doing. So my message him and asked him what's going on..... His response was well you just saved me over $15,000 on this remodel so here's your "tip" totally wasn't expecting it....... I'm eternally grateful for this guy That's why I'm going to go OD on that kitchen for him. I already did the flooring in his apartment after the kitchen I'm pretty sure he's going to have me too the bathroom as well lolol.

Now I really can't wait until this girl is over so I could test out my new toy!!

You've done well.

You'll need to start a user review of that piece of equipment and we all want to know how you get along with it.

It should be here Saturday or Sunday. I'm super excited.... The Tangie will be the first to try it out. She's got like 20 to 30 days left. Super hype about it. I was really stressing the drying and curing because in the summer time this attic apartment gets so hot and the insulation under the roof has since disintegrated and just turn into like dryer fluff. You know the lint that you get from the dryers. So there isn't much insulation from the heat nor from the cold. Now I'm going to have a dedicated unit for it. Maybe I'll do a side-by-side comparison? One inside the cool cure another inside a C vault and the third the grove bag. That might be a cool little experiment to run. Maybe if the pineapple Express yields a few ounces I'll be able to stick 2 oz in each device and then later compare the cure. 🤔🤔 Giving myself ideas

I got to find out how much lab testing is for cannabis. If it's not too expensive I'll definitely start sending my weed out so that I could get a legit lab report.... They also have that one device ... The tCheck. I may have to get one this fall of lab testing is too expensive. NJ still a baby in the weed game so it's probably going to be pricy. The plus side with the lab is that you get a full cannabinoid report as well as terpenes.. with the tCheck, You're just getting I think only THC and maybe CBD results. And we know nowadays that THC doesn't make the high. THC by itself is fairly unpleasant It's all the other cannabinoids with the THC that give the really good highs.

It is HERE!! IT IS HERE IT IS HERE!!!!!!! 🥳🎉🎉🎉

OMG I can't believe it's here. The UPS guy....a champ... He helped me carry it up the 7 flights of stairs to my attic abode. I gave him $20 and some weed.....I think he was more happy about the weed than the $20. He kept smelling it and smelling it and smelling it.

I'm celebration of my new Cannatrol, I ordered a $100 worth of seeds. So I'm getting 16 seeds. Not bad at all. Now that I have a perfect drying and curing device..... Duck 🦆 you summer. I'm growing right through independence day! And into Fall! Best thing I don't need to be around for a week at a time. If I fill up my bases before leaving. I'm good for 5 days. Granted I won't be able to do the time lapse unless I get a larger memory card then I could do maybe three or four days at a time.... But even if I just cut my bud down, I can put it in the Cannatrol and have the freedom to do other things. Drying and curing always stressed me out the most out of the whole process because temperatures and humidity was always my enemy. Especially since I have the small studio apartment it's really hard to have separate rooms for separate temperatures and humidities. I kind of have to middle ground everything and hope for the best.... NOT ANYMORE!!!

in about 15 days or so, the Tangie will be ready.....yooooooo hilarious. It's by 420 Fastbuds and she's inline to finish on 4/20. The timing! She's on day 68. It's possible. I cut the last one at 84 days. I can't imagine how amazing it's going to turn out. I swear this is going to be a huge game changer!! In the last year I improved SO MUCH I've come a long way and I have so much more in store! Y'all just wait!

About the unit:
It's basically a wine fridge but there's definitely some different technology in there. There's fans and thermoelectric cooling. It has these nice metal shelves for you herbs and it even has a light inside so you can appreciate your work without having to open it up. It comes with keys and "a lock". Honestly it's not keeping anybody out if they really wanted to get in. Even when locked the door still partially opens up. I'm guessing this is just so they can say it's "child proof". The display doesn't seem to turn off at all ... The light show behind the fridge also turns off as it comes "inline" as they say in the manual. I'm gonna just cover the front display with some sticky notes because I don't like closing my tents during lights out. IDK if ppl noticed but it gets SO HUMID when the lights go out. The fans will be running at 10 speed in a room that's 50% humidity and it's still like 60 inside the tent. Ridiculous. They don't have a problem venting heat but man those tents suck on humidity. I can see why ppl get bud rot so often if they have them tents closed all the time.
anyways.... Before I get too off track. The unit took only a few minutes to get to the proper settings after I plugged it in.... Which is indicated by the back lights turning off. It comes with a stylus (that I haven't lost yet) to use on the touch panel. It also comes with a can of compressed air to get high on if the fridge doesn't work and you realized you sunk almost 2k into it 🤣🤣🤣. No I kid. It's to clear out the drip tube. It also comes with a sponge in a cup. Yup 2k worth of technology... Sponge in a cup lol

But all jokes aside. I'm so blessed to have awesome ppl around me who wanna see me succeed(so they can tag along for the ride). They know I'm the one with the crazy ideas and one of them is bound to work... But also. WE HAD AN EARTHQUAKE TODAY and multiple aftershocks. IT'S A SIGN! Since when do we have earthquakes and on the day that I got the Cannatrol? Super coincidence. 🤔. Lolol
Either way I can't wait to test it out... Very very soon!!

Happy growings!🪴🪱🍄🌱

Do you have a couple of accurate hygrometers & temperature gauges you can put in there, top and bottom shelf, so you can independently monitor what is going on?

Would love to see a nice slow controlled dry and cure in one of those.

You're going to love it!

Yeah I got a bunch that are accurate. I used to toss them into the grove bags and the C vaults. I'm def gonna put one into the unit. I can't wait to give it a test run. I never expected this... I'm still in shock. I never have good shit happen to me like this....
At least now I can have my plants growing in the same room that I have the Cannatrol where I have my mushroom tent. It's just one big happy grow. And reach can have the micro climate they need to do what they need to do. The anxiety waiting until mid May 😅😅. How amazing is the blue dream going to be with this cure? What about the Tangie or the pineapple? Let's not forget the MAC 1. Margins are getting really tight. Everything is really nicely controlled and the plants are showing it for real

Everyone is blooming crazy!!

The Blue dream got some neem seed and kelp all of a sudden she's also getting nitrogen deficient. But this is all good knowledge. I know what ingredients to double for my soil recipe. I'm also going to bulk up the volume to fill those 7 gallons.
