That is the theme of the week. In the past 5 days, the pineapple, tangie and blue dream just EXPLODED!! Especially that blue dream. She was so small just 5 days ago and now her leaves are past the flower pot. The Gaia green nutrients seem to be doing pretty well. The MAC is still sluggish. She's picking up for sure but she's the smallest of the bunch .
I've been foliar spraying all of them 2x a week with cal-mag/yucca mix. Not that they need it but I don't want the nutes to go to waste. I spent money on them so I'm going to slowly use them all up.
Pineapple Express..... Like I predicted, she's a beastie.... She's going to be a big girl🥰. Super healthy, growing like crazy in that Coots mix that was cooking since November. She's living it. She's been water only. I suspect I won't need much else. I have started with some LST before the branches get so thick that they snap like they did on the Mandarin.
The Tangie is starting to flower. You can see petals all over the place. She's starting to stretch as well. I'm going to be putting up the SCRoG net up this week. I'm not going to weave them but I will use it as a guide. I have started to LST her as well. I don't want one big cola so because she started stretching, I started to 90°bend the top. This will eventually give me a nice even canopy. I've done it in the past with great success. Since topping autos is a bad idea, the 90 bend is the best method imo
MAC is still behind. She's grown a lot this week but she's still the runt of the litter. The new leaves look healthy but there's weird growth and it's slow. I have faith in her though. Might just be a bad seed because ......
The Blue Dream...... Man she came out of left field!! She was tiny at the beginning of the week and in 5 days she almost tripled in size!!! She is one happy grower!
Since they're getting so big so fast and I only have limited amount of space, I'm flipping to 12hr lighting. That means I'll need to adjust the lights to get proper DLI for the Tangie. The rest will get plenty adjustment as they stretch.
Man times goes by so fast.....I can't Believe it's already time to flower.....I just only opened the Mandarin and the UG and........omgl I never had weed this good before in my whole entire life!! The Mandarin is supposed to taste like oranges but mine tastes more like grape candy. And the UG is like if you took cherries and pureed then I'm some jet fuel......holy hell is she gassy. Both are such different flavors. I think I like the UG more tbh. Who would have guessed the freebie would be so 🔥🔥
Also prepping to start some oyster mushrooms and a fresh batch of tidal wave and treasure Coast strains. I also have a camera for those. I'll be doing a time lapse on them as well. It's so cool seeing my plants growing, it's going to be awesome seeing the mushrooms a well.
