NEW VAPORIZER FOR DRY HERB: GHOST Mv1

So I’ve received my replacement, looks good.
I am starting to think the oven on my old one was also bad, vaping this new one at 160C is producing no vapor but I am feeling slight effects. Turned it to it 185C medium setting and was getting about the right clouds.
Also, preheating the crucible is far more noticeable now even at a full charge.
And when I got it, I had to do a firmware update to actually get it to start working, nice to know that there are and will be updates.

Ok...I’m gonna confess.... my Ghost is charged up...both batteries, ready to go... I told this here to a friend so sorry to repeat it BUT it’s a good one. The parts I was waiting for had to do with a rubber gasket and some other obscure part. I figured in case something happens and I needed to rebuild something, I’m fully equipped.
Never checked the HAPTIC thing yet... 🙂
Back in the 1971-72, we rolled joints, had the toilet paper tube with the tin foil bowl, water pipes and bought a 1 lb bag for about 400.00. Emptied the bag into a plastic pail and just kept dipping in as needed. When that was finished a few days later..( only kidding ) that was my last foray into weed. Had to grow up quickly and all of the ROOTS that tie you down started to take hold. Here it is 46 years later and I bought a few oil filled pieces that go onto a battery for a vape pen. Despite having some good buds and the MV1, I still had not tried any of it. So I figured I would see how to use the pen.
Went to YouTube and watched about4 videos on how to to It. All said take a 10 second draw on the pen and abracadabra...it works. So I draw in about 10 seconds and WOW... I started to cough and cough and hack and choke like it was my first puff in 1967. My throat was on fire but ....my head was starting to drift... the oil was Bruce Banner and while I still don’t know who that is... I was starting to get very buzzed... safe to say the experiment was flawed. Tried it again last night but with much more moderation.... that was very nice.
I will get to it maybe this weekend ... this really is new to me. Like a cell phone to a guy in the 1950’s. Technology evolved around m me in a field I had no exposure to...I’m a non-smoker. When I write up my report, it will be a good one I’m sure.. in the mean time Alltatup has some of the most detailed instructions out the...better that Ghost.
As for the buds and the Ghost....not yet...I keep buying my medical allocation in case nothing else happens but, that’s looking good so, just need another few weeks

So 3 weeks into my replacement, had a crucible roll off the table and break, Ghost was quite quick to replace it, and recommend their replacement pack for the future. The wear is far better than the last one, the plastic on the button isn’t worn off.
Every strain has its own temp, some taste great hot like 200C while others taste best at 160C.

Yeah I was actually wondering how far I could push on their service, so far no limits. But I’ve only had the whole machine replaced so... Lol

I recall those old vapes, had one my self. Reminded me of a bowl placed on a soldering iron with a mason jar screwed on. Was a waste of money

Ok... Ok.... never thought I would bend to peer pressure but I went ahead and bought one ..... Have recently tried the vape pens, and was on the fence about getting something like this. Reading this thread convinced me. Thanks

RagWeedDWC Congrats!!! I also have a vape pen, which is always so much harsher. This thing is smooth and powerful as shit. There is no heat in the vapor. It does have a bit of a learning curve; if you want my notes, just PM me.
