NEW VAPORIZER FOR DRY HERB: GHOST Mv1

The Ghost arrived... did not require an adult to sign for it. It wasn’t marked anywhere but I do know the delivery driver well enough that he’d leave it but... nothing listed. There are 4 separate boxes in the box it’s delivered in and those are fast charger, extra battery, crucibles and the MV1. Sadly the quick start directions tell you to charge the battery over night to ensure a full charge and protect the battery life. Happily though, the fast charger will charge the battery in 2 hours approximately. Safe to say, they’re both lit up as this is written.

This one has the glass Stem as I scrutinized it for the telltale seam. Working in a dental lab years ago tell me it’s easy to polish off any molded seams to a smooth clean feel with just some fine pumice or buffing compounds. But, since it’s glass, cool. Replaced a few outlets in the house with those usb charger ports...convenient if nothing else.

the device is nicely made from a hands on feel but until the unit fires up, that about all I have. Nice to see an added accessory for cleaning and maintaining the mv1. Stay tuned?
 
Very excited by all these new gadgets, it's a strange new world out there. In my state you are supposed to get everything at the dispensary, even your vape machine. I will do what I want anyway but has anyone else run into that?
 
GlitterFarm My first reaction to that: it's bordering on fascism, for real. How dare they try to regulate where you get the fkin vape you want????? That's total greedy bs.

I have no clue what they do in my state. Seems like ‘head shops’ are few and far between.... but my last interaction was in the early 1970’s
 
Okay having used this for a few weeks and having also had the glass stem replacement for about a week I believe it’s appropriate for my follow up review

The glass stem is critical in my opinion, instead of feeling like I was using a 150$ POS, it felt amazing to vape through. Truly a game changer.

Also a few more tips:

the plastic poker to help clean the holes has ZERO durability, so I’ve found putting the lid to your lips and blowing it out is far easier and puts off cleaning to about once every week or two rather than a couple days

Stay with a temp for a while like try a whole crucible before trying a new temp

Along with the last point you have to kind of preheat the crucible and this becomes more apparent once the battery is below 35% so running one crucible until its gone is very helpful
 
Also it seems to wear on the back a bit

I find it very efficient to have a supply of alcohol wipes on hand, and I wipe off the stainless steel crucible top with them. Then I set them all soaking in alcohol every few weeks, cuz the lids do get stopped up.
 
That does not look right, you should call and email them ....that unit likes like it is 6 month old and you just got it?... their customer service has proven to be exceptional for me
 
So update on the wear issue, they emailed my photos to their QA department and have since sent me another email saying that a new one is on its way and we’ll have the return labels sent to you to return the malproduced device. Should be getting it today I’ll take pics and see how long this one lasts or if it’s even better than this one I’ll publish a new review
 
Certainly good news after all of that expense. Helpful to the others on this forum who have yet to experience this problem.
