NEW VAPORIZER FOR DRY HERB: GHOST Mv1

Man, I have so much to learn about this new stuff.... the last time we might have smoked anything was 1976? I remember being as high tech as a paper towel tube with a tin foil bowl ! Mainstream medical use brings things back into focus after decades. Maybe for us it was a good thing...we made it to retirement 🤫. Time to start shopping

Farmall We used toilet paper rolls and tinfoil back in the 60s-70s, too!! Necessity is the mother of invention, but not of high tech!! ;-}

I am getting such a kick out of all the new technology.

I'm learning so much from from everyone. I had been wanting to check out vaping, now I have to. Going to the store tomorrow just to check things out. Yall rock!

alltatup I got a response back, they dont have one yet they are currently working on making their affiliates program. Welp, just ordered it and now I wait a week, I’ll post back here my thoughts on it.

furrysparkle This info may help you. I raked it together from various web sites as well as their manual; there are things they need to put in the manual that aren't there. Thing about this vape: it seems to work better the lighter you pack the crucible. Amazing: less weed is more.

BATTERY AND HEAT SETTINGS
Press and hold the Mode Button to display battery level.
Release then press and hold again to display current heat setting(flashing LEDs).
Press the Mode Button repeatedly to cycle through preset temps.

3 green LEDs indicates full

· 1 flashing green LED indicating it’s time to recharge.
· Out of juice: the device will vibrate 3 times with a single flashing red LED.

Overheatingis indicated by vibration and a red warning light.
Wait until it cools down to use again.
Overheating caused by:
  • Crucible is too full. Hot air can't move quickly enough through the device and collects under the filling chamber.
  • Too slow draws can cause heat to build up underneath the chamber. We recommend to pull a little harder than with most vaporizers: the vapor will be cooled down.
  • To speed up the cooling process, remove the battery and crucuble, and leave door open.
  • Blowing on the MV1 can also help a quicker cool-down
BEFORE FIRST USE: IMPORTANT:The MV1 Fast Charger should take no more than 2 hours. Failure to fully charge the battery may permanently reduce its capacity and lifespan.

LOADING:For dry herb, grind to a coarse consistency and load crucible loosely, level to the top. Fit crucible lid securely, ensuring there are no gaps between the lid and crucible as you close the door.

SWITCHING ON: To activate, press and hold Mode Button until a single green LED shows, then release and the current battery level will be displayed. The unit will wait in Sleep Mode.

PREPARING FOR USE: Extend the mouthpiece by between ½ - ¾". Keep the heat sink inserted all the way.
Triple click the Mode Button to activate Vape Mode,a single green LED will display.

VAPING DRY HERBS: In Vape Mode, press and hold the Vape Button for several seconds, until you feel a long buzz meaning it’s time to vape.Continue to hold the Vape Button and inhale for at least 10 seconds - the longer the draw, the more intense the flavor. Release the Vape Button when done and repeat as desired.

VAPING CONCENTRATES: Select temperature setting for concentrates and when in Vape Mode, press and hold the Vape Button. You will feel a long buzz; immediately begin inhaling and continue until you feel a second long buzz. This prepares the concentrate for use and a single amber LED will be displayed indicating that you are in Concentrate Mode. When ready, press and hold the Vape Button again and immediately inhale for at least 10 seconds, releasing when done. Repeat as desired.

TEMPERATURES: 2 flashing amber LEDs is the default heat setting. To increase vapor intensity select one of the higher presets. For lighter vapor reduce to low, indicated by 1 amber LED. The concentrate preset is indicated by 3 flashing red LEDs and should not be used for herbs.

While the actual number of vapes will very much depend on the way the GHOST MV1 is used, tests have shown that over 100 full length vapes on the highest heat setting can be achieved on a single battery charge. Lower temperatures result in less frequent charging.

SAFETY
Operate only between temperatures of +5°C – +30°C/+41°F - +86°F

furry, I'm in my second week of use, I've learned a lot (like to dry herb if it's too moist and not to pack ground herb into crucible), and I'm lovin it. Intense high so quickly. What an extractor of the good stuff!

As we are coming back to the fold since 1975 and so much has changed and vaping seems to retain costs at a lower level , here’s a few vaporizer questions
; is the devise temperature adjustable for burning the material?
: is the burn chamber ceramic?
; are there plastic parts that can be close to heat when used
:are durable parts utilized for the entire delivery pathways ...

thank you FarmAll

That vape sounds awesome atu! My first dry herb vape was plug in, about a ft tall, and had a glass orb you covered the bowl with while it heated up forever. I can't remember what happened to it. I think I threw it out lol.

I would love to try one of these bad boys before buying one. I always seem to buy paraphernalia, use it for a time, and go right back to a bowl lol. Never got big into vaping, but I would be down with not smelling like weed everywhere I go (I don't mind, but society's standards seem to mind!)

Glad to hear you are doing well atu!

Yes, it's temp adjustable. And if you get the phone app, you can program in an additional two personalized temps.

The crucible is ceramic with a very sturdy stainless steel screen that sits on top of the crucible. All parts are very well made; it's a heavy piece of machinery, and if you go to their website, they break down what's inside and how it works. There's no plastic, but there is some silicone parts that don't come out or come in direct contact with heat. The mechanism for cooling the vapor is amazing.

I also watched the VapeCritic video which helped a lot: https://www.vapecritic.com/ghost-mv1/
He was good at explaining lots of stuff. This is his updated review from July of this year.

mcubed476 Too bad you can't just pop over with the little woman for a neighborly vaping session. I had one of them glass bowl pieces of shit, too. ;-}

I get so high using this thing: it's more like using a concentrate. It's truly amazing at how it extracts the vapor; this is an experience that differs dramatically from my other vaping experiences. In my Storz & Bickell Plenty, for example, I had to use a lot more weed--at least a gram--and I didn't get this high; I'd do two bowls. So that one's sitting and gathering dust right now... With the MV1, I'm high as I can be after one or two crucibles each holding around .1 of a gram.

I've been using vapes for some years now at home, and while I would toke on a jay if I were in a group of people smoking, I haven't smoked at home in a year or more. Combustion wastes so much material and it just got too hard on my lungs. And when I think back to how much bud was smoked by some of my friends who never say Stop.... I cringe.

So if you're cruising thru the Dirty South, stop by and try it.
