Well it depends where the clones come from!!If the mother has an issue the clone will have that same issue!If you are certain they only do couple rounds of clones on each mother and get newest cuts as possible id go for it..Also it depends on what strains you want to grow

Well week one down 4 days into after the leaves opened finally got 6500k 100w bulbs 1 week into grow update

Are you not using the leds for veg? they are full spectrum...

fuck i have bought alot of light bulbs i did not know led are full spec so what i need 4x 100w leds (if you meant the big leds i dont have the funds yet to get them but iam buying the 300w led for veg on thursday should have it on sat

I'm wondering since the cups i used to plant my plants is one third the size of a solo cup if I should transplant them into another container . I just got jiffy organic seedling mix. Or should I just wait.

I don't like transplanting at all, i go for rooters in a humidity dome and then 5 days later or a week i put them directly where they will grow and die,the final pot! And yes i would transplant if it's 1/3

Also about that 300w led,get it on right away,whichone u getting? If it says Full Spetrum then it is..

i second everything Nartak says, esp re. viparspectra. in fact, here's something i wrote in response to this question from someone else that's at the same point you are re. lighting.

here's a suggestion. when i was where you are i (uninformedly) thought that since "light=food" for plants then go with the larger light if i could afford it. what this meant was that i got *one* really big light, a switchable 1000W MH/HPS w/air-cooled reflector, $200.

since then i have learned that it is far better (for reasons you can check in NebulaHaze 's tutorials on lighting, links below) to have more than 1 light with lesser or equal to wattage than it is to have just 1 light w/max wattage.

anyway, since reading all of that and understanding what it meant, i saw the newbie mistake of my initial light purchase. since then i have purchased a viparspectra 300 and 2 roleadro 2nd generation COB (link below) because, the latter, at only $100, are a REALLY good value for not just wattage, 400W, but perhaps more importantly, they are full spectrum. so in short this set up is very versatile since i have 3 lights (at 900 total watts) doing a FAR BETTER job at doing what my initial purchase, the 1 1000watt light, could, for only a little more money

in addition, doing it the "multi-light" way means a MUCH larger light "footprint" for your plants (see tutorials), and also one that is more versatile/more customizable. for example you can move them around, interchange them, etc., depending on say, strain or species.

I was all about yields and potency. I have since changed my tune. I'm on my 5th grow now and I'm loving organic growing. Less yields for sure, but the quality is unparalleled. I encourage you to evaluate multiple growing styles if possible. It's the only way to know what suits you best.

i would go with separate 400Ws instead of the 900W for reasons i posted above. also, i have not had good luck with GH's pH down--it drifted like crazy, like within hours my pH was right back up where it wanted to be. others really like it but since it didn't work for me i have since switched to citric acid crystals and white vinegar, depending upon application.

Did't realize people would subscribe to this which is awesome and kinda made my morning here my best looking plant update~! also i did get my ph meter yesterday its 7.7 out of the tap i should get the ph up and down today. also i have a buddy giving me 6-8 diff clones of diff strains so excitied to order my veg equipment im going to run a two tent setup!

So i figured after getting my setup and clones i would do a grow journal update! back left i dr. purp front middle and both right are Fire og and bottom left is CHer. Also got my nutes, some more soil a turbo cloner. some new smart pots! what ya guys think?
