This is a male...

You will be able to tell before this even...

White hair out of a pod is female..no white hair is male

Welcome to our world Cowboy. What kind of light do you have ? You need more light and closer to your plants. The reason I say that is because your plants have stretched quit a bit.. Also you might want to get rid of the aluminum foil. It acts like little magnifying glasses and tends to cause hot spots on your plant. Use Mylar instead. Over all your plants look pretty health. I mean it doesn't look like you overwatered them or overdid it with nutes. Can you show us you light setup ?

The very last picture shows what look like female pre-flowers. However, the advice to flip to a flower light cycle is good. They will show their sex in a few weeks afterward.

I will comment My Beloved Green with: I let my regular (never again regular unless I have an acre) seed plants go to 60 days in veg, training all too. The females showed In less than 50 days pre flower...and I pitched the rest. I only put females in flower tent cause I don't want to clean it after a male explodes..ahemmm. My females showed before males or late females. It was my first sexing test. Done with that one 4 sure
I strongly suggest female seeds
Wishing you a fine evening

I agree about the lights. It seems that they're stretching out searching to get more light. I can make a cost effective suggestion for a quality light that ships from a good company out of Utah. $30. I've gone through a few times now with most excellent results. You can check out my organic grow post for some pictures

I agree with Canyon Grower, that last picture has a pre-flower that I'm 99% sure is female. Here's page with more pictures of male and female pre-flowers so you can compare in person with the other plants :) You can be absolutely certain the plant is female if you see a little white wispy hair emerge from the end of the pre-flower.

I thought I'd share this neat picture of a female pre-flower giving "birth" to a pistil :)

And here's a picture of a female pre-flower with the pistils all the way out!

Usually you'll only get one pre-flower at most per joint in the vegetative stage, and only 1-2 pistils per pre-flower until you actually put the plant in the flowering stage. Once you actually switch to a 12/12 light schedule, you'll start seeing tons of pistils popping up everywhere!

And so here you have the last word from someone who has forgotten more than most of us will ever know about cannabis! Thanks Nebula !!!

No Title

Can anyone tell me if this is male or female? My slower grower of the 2 has already shown the tell-tell white hairs, but my more hearty one in veg has fell behind during flowering.. there in their 8thday of 12/12..
