I love the breeders that claim the best quality and then you get an autoflower in the mix, they are tougher then they used to be but they still dont last when you pull them up by the roots and toss them on the driveway.
I have seeds over 10 years old from the time I purchased them and they all pop. Who knows how old they were when thet shiped. in the last 8 years I have been buying from NASC they are about 80 miles north of me, its nice to meet the people your doing business with. I used to buy from Nirvana strictly but then I noticed they would change the parents and keep the name the same. Anyway trust what you know, if it aint broke dont fix it and they popped corn seeds that were over a 1000 years old so I dont think age matters much.
