That's my issue....trying to figure out when to cut. My friend decided the pinewarp needed to be harvested and showed me how to trim. Now it's up to me he says.
i though it was going to be easier to determine cloudy vs clear. Amber is easy to tell. I'm guessing I just need a little experience to tell what I am looking at, and if it's what I want.

Another question, how do I get the pictures to be scrollable, like everyone's here? Mine you have to click on each to see them.
 
Did a little inspection just now. A lot of the views had 1-20 amber, looking through the 60x loupe. That's obviously out of the hundreds I see. I would say they are mostly cloudy too....I guess
 
Rosetta, she is a beautiful bud! Is the bottom of the bud ripe? Remember that you can always cut off ripe parts and leave the rest growing.
 
I just continue to look at the color of pistils and trichomes till I feel it's ready to cut. I couldn't really tell from that picture if the lower portion of the bud was as "ready" as the top...???
 
Is there a sign of ripe? Is it the color change I see on top? They went from a medium green to a darker green with some purpleish sugar leaves
 
What I'm cutting now there's a good mixture of amber in all the places I check. I think it's lack of light making it look greener and less dense. I have the light off because I was told to not harvest when the light has been on. Kinda like when you harvest vegetables, early morning us the best time.
