My obsession

The air in the basement is humid. Way humid. I don't have a meter so I don't know how much but it's a lot. Anyway i have 4 plants in flower down there & I'm starting to fret. I have an oscillating fan blowing on them & an exhaust fan drawing air out. I haven't seen any indication of mold or fungus yet but just blowing wet air around can't be good. Right now, I cant afford a dehumidifier or ac so how can I minimize the effects of all this ambient moisture?

I know that's right!! This is like our 3rd straight week of rain in the dirty south!! It has been so wet!!

You do NOT want high humidity during flower. Can you move those plants to a drier part of the house?

As soon as you can afford a dehumidifier, get one. This is what I had to get for my grow room, and believe me it's been handy cuz I just harvested and you can't dry bud in 75% humidity indoors!!

I had this thing going all the time last week, and I had to empty it 2x daily. It holds 50 pints. Now it's on again while I'm drying bud.

I'm in Virginia where, if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute. I really don't need yet another reason to hate humidity, yet here we are. Taking them to another room is not really an option coz Mrs. Lady is already hollering about the smell.

Alltatup my wife loves the smell they make when the lights go off in the tent. If you havent noticed the aroma changes. She likes it so much that i put a quick disconnect in the scrubber on the one in my bedroom.

It's just funny, cuz so many guys on this forum have wives who can't stand the smell or are jealous of the plants, but I haven't heard from a single woman here whose husband hates the smell, etc.
