My new thc potency tester

Mine arrived today. I tested a bud from my last grow. Results in the pic (5 stars). I tested a bud from my first grow got a 4 star rating. The microscope that came in the mail is exactly like the one I already have. I def plan to use this app!

Thanks guys, for falling on your swords to test this out! I don't think I'll acquire anything that necessitates a recurring subscription though.

I'll be reading your reports though - Fascinating!!!
 
@allatup...no THC %...just the stars. It might be because Purple #1 isn't in their database. IDK. I'll inquire and share the answer. The other strain I tested, from my first grow, is unknown by me. All I know is it was an indica dominant plant. Kinda sorry to only see it only get 4 stars cause it def packs a punch.
 
@allatup...OK, it was operator error. The first pics I took were with the iPhone 11pro camera w/o the microscope attached. When I opened the app to take another round of pics I saw the microscope icon in the camera lens. I attached the scope, took some pics and got a THC % this time. 17% for the first grow and 18%for the second grow. The microscope allows for real magnified clarity and doesn't require a rock steady hand to get good pics.
 
alltatup Ditto. This is way cheaper and easier than getting a test at the local lab. After my first major grow fail, I also want to know I'm doing everything right in the grow process.

Mine just arrived today. I'll probably get a chance to play with it tomorrow. If my upstairs neighbor finds out I got this I might have to fight him for it :)
 
golfnrl The strain name doesn't matter at all. The app compares the pictures of your trichomes to its data. I gently press the bud right up against the lens piece so it's clearly in focus and then I snap it. I developed a feel for it after a few tries.
 
You will have fun with it!!! (I sure hope.) Tell your neighbor you do testing for $3 a flower or 2 for $5.
 
It’s one thing I don’t have today 😂. In the building store today for buying soil and leca stones, and there Is just too many people 🤦🏼😆
 
So they sent my THC tester from Israel to LA Califórnia 😂.
It should be on the plane to Europe soon 🤣🤣.

But my wife bought me a 10x jeweler loop, with LED and UV light in it. And I love it already😍. Just this loop with what I can see, is just perfect. I’m definitely on the right track - on my indoor grow for sure
