MrGreen's OG Kush Photo Grow #3

Screw the nonsense...flowering has begun! She is just growing like crazy and she's quite bushy. Changed the light schedule today.

So we are 5 days into flowering and she just continues to stretch nicely! The first pic was taken 4 days ago. Since then, she has filled out more and the 2 main branches were head & shoulders above the canopy. i tied them both down. I watered her yesterday. I'm giving her a gallon every 3 days. I clipped a couple of the giant fans and some bottom stems. As usual, things are progressing nicely. I'm just hoping for some dense buds. Any tips to achieve this would be greatly appreciated! See you guys in a few.

Sorry for the delay in updates. We are at Day 19 of flowering and I love the way she grows! Flowers are starting to form. I have tied up the branches pretty good, but she has 3 main branches that have tops coming off their sides. I'm going to water her today. The first 2 pics were taken 4 days ago...the second 2 were taken today, so you can see the growth. It looks like she has about 15 distinct tops...nice! See you guys soon.

We're at Day 24 of flowering and here she is. The flowers are forming down the stems and filling in nicely. I did a little trimming and feed her yesterday. Not much else to report at this point.

Hey everyone,

We are at Day 31 of flowering and, I have to say, I am really impressed by this little lady! She continues to show strong growth and she is becoming frosty! I had to cut 3 lower branches that were barely growing...oh well(sigh). Good news is...she has 19 healthy tops. I tried to get a good top-view pic. I also learned that she likes...(wait for it...)...Molasses! Yes...molasses! I tried a tsp in my last 3 feedings and she seems to really like it. I watered her today. I apologize for the gaps in updates. I have a new job that keeps me really busy and really tired lol! I'll try to do better. See you guys in a few.

Hey guys,

Day 37 of flowering and she is developing red hairs on her flowers. She continues to bloom nicely, flowers starting to fill in the stems. I'm trying to keep light on the lower parts of her branches, so I kinda finagled the top in the middle to the side...there's 2 buds asking for light right under the one I bent. Hopefully, they'll fill out a little more. The buds feel firm so far. A friend of mine told me that I don't dry my buds long enough, which is why they are airy and crumbly so far...any thoughts? He said to hang them for 3 weeks and cure for another 3 weeks. My temp is steady at around 75 and RH is around 50. Later my peeps.

MrGreen, it doesn't make sense to me that how you dry the buds would make them airy and crumbly. See if anything is applicable from this page on bud density: http://www.growweedeasy.com/dense-buds

Also, depending on the size of what you're drying, I've never heard of a 3 week drying period. That sounds far too long to me, like it would totally dry the buds out and effectively stop the curing process.
