HYDRO Mixing General Hydro Nutrients with Non GH Supplements

I am growing 4 autoflower White Widow plants. The environment is a 4x4 Gorilla Grow Tent. Mars Hydro TSW 2000 LED. PA Hydro Waterfall DWC. Four 7 gallon pots using clay bead medium. General Hydro nutrients. CalMag. VooDoo root biotics. 20 hours on. 4 hours off. Entering week eight in full bloom.

My question is this. Is it safe to use non-GH bud boosters? I have ordered Bud Candy and Big Bud from Advanced Hydro. But I haven’t used them. This is my first grow and I am not experienced enough to know if my buds are of an appropriate size or should I be patient?

So far I have been careful to use 30% to 50% nite ratios rather than full strength recommended ppMs. No burns. No deaths.

Any experienced advice appreciated. Many thanks...

While you will find you may not need them and you should really investigate any supplement you add, and those are well known items so it’s likely not just water, but try not to grasp at slogans and those cool psychedelic images of giant buds. Good growing practices usually eliminate the need for many boosters... of course OPINIONS VARY

by the way, is that system from Gary in Maryland I think? He has a bunch of video on YouTube? I like that system

Honestly, the base mix you're using is enough. A P-K boost really only needs to be used during the initial stretch and that's debatable using Flora trio. The only other supplement I've found that helps the plant's structure is supplying silica to the mix. GH sells Armor-Si or if you want to mix your own get some AgSil 16H dry mix.

If you want big buds without mixing all kinds of isshhh and save money. Just use kelp and silica both can be organic dry amendments that you can add water and instantly it’s available for your plants to take in just like the water in the bottles you are buying. Matter of fact read the labels first and I’m sure you will find it has what we are telling you just more water down than adding water yourself to the dry amendments. As far as mixing different brands if that’s what your asking it doesn’t matter I don’t think the plants can tell plus like I said it’s more water than anything In those bottles.
