Medical weed

Well last night I got some more of the med weed from Michigan, once again I am disappointed, not much in the head and severe couch lock. Sativa is really hard to find locally. To each his own I guess. I'm about to start my first dwc grow and I want I killer sativa but I hate the long flowerING period and plant height. Guess ya can't have it all. I have access to Comercial (brick) weed and I think it normally tends toward sativas, anyone else found that to be the case?

I have grown several sativas and managed their height with topping and LST. Only my Blackjack insisted on being a tree.
I enjoy the sativas for daytime - a balanced diet. Yes , in CA it seems people really favor indicas (young market base). Also a Sativa dominant hybrid can be a good choice but still needs to be trained IMO.

I visit dispensaries in MI too. Hybrids and indicas dominate the shelves. Not many sativa or sativa dominant. But we are a medical state so that makes sense to me...

I've had some really good AK 47, strawberry cough, green crack, blue dream, sour diesel, to name a few in MI dispensaries. Just gotta look. Weedmaps is your friend.
