Medical v Recreational.

Grow for me lol but I guess federal law prohibits that ahh we need a federal decision soon here, it’s ridiculous as more and more states go green, only the few will remain stalked in the grain, the whisky drinking, gas guzzling, proletariat, lol
 
Outlaw grower here: I grow 8 plants at a time. Re: "recreational" and medicinal:

Some of these laws sound so stupid to me, as does the term "recreational." In my opinion, all cannabis use is medicinal, even if the user abuses it. I see the effects of mood-lifting to laugh my ass off, mildly to strongly sedating, creative and alert mind, gaining profound insight into the mysteries of life on this planet, etc.--as medicinal effects.
 
I agree, as a care worker for a local pharmacy, I say it’s medicine, and I use it personally as medicine, but I smoke it all day long, is that classed then as recreational lol. All I care about is not being thrown into jail or even worse deported which could happen if I crossed any boundaries, the legality issue for me is just about done, I would like to see it decriminalized at the federal level but I don’t see that happening. The terms are vague or grey, all I know is that anyone in Maine can grow cannabis. Legally... whether you have a medical card or not. It just means as a medicinal user, with certification, I can actually grow more than the average Mainer.

U.S.A. I’m stuck in a state that does not abide, I have a med.card but with the prices at the pharmacy (ridiculous) i chose to grow my own instead, at least I know what I’m getting.
 
Florida has med but it is hard to get a card because it is only legal got concentrates topicals things like that . Non smokable . With the law reform in November I hope that will change . You can still grow tho with a growers card . But you have to have 2mill in capital. And 10k just to apply . I’m still getting my property all fixed up . If I can get a card I’ll grow here if not I’ll sell the property and buy something bigger in Michigan . Already looking at property in Michigan tbh
 
Yeh it must be tough mate, I can see why you’d go for Michigan instead and it makes more sense. Let them sort it out but can see it would be a very long term investment before there would be reward in it especially after all that financial outlay. Good luck.
 
I’m looking into becoming someone’s apprentice, hoping that the head Gardener at my pharmacy might take me up as an intern or “sourcerers apprentice” lol
 
My current grow is in Michigan . But I have a 5year goal to have a commercial license. I just happen to own a large property in Florida . But I would be happier in Michigan tbh .
 
NAKEDGARDENER I see all day smoking or vaping as a way of taking your medicine. No “buts” about it. We have to free our minds from the ways that “they” want to impose on cannabis.

I thought the prejudice against cannabis started back in the 1930s, but isn’t it odd, to us all that this country was the one that stigmatized generations of cannabis users as druggies, hippies, etc and made it in ‘straight’ peoples minds that it was illicit and dangerous, that this prejudice then spread to many other countries such as my own, who even today though they do have a more relaxed attitude to ‘weed’ still criminalize everyone who uses it regularly and illegally. How can one countries laws be exported to other countries where they should have no jurisdiction. This is what we tirelessly fought against in the U.K. for years. Not the fact that it was illegal but why does our government follow United States laws when they don’t follow ours. They would say that cannabis legality was not based on evidence for or against cannabis usage in the Americas, but based around the scientific evidence that it was dangerous to young people and their minds, as well as that they could find no scientific evidence that cannabis had any medical value at all.... That science has improved massively to the point now that they know it is a benefit, especially for those with M.S. yet they still re catorgorized it from class c, I think back into the class a category, but I have not lived in that country for over 15 yrs now so I am probably wrong on that. You had Nixon, we had Thatcher....
