I like to let the side branches grow out to three nodes and then I supercrop them down. This creates a really strong base as both supercrops swell to knuckles that make the plant look like she has biceps!

Yea it's weird for me too, sometime they seem to stall out a few weeks after this, but every time I flip them into bloom, they just go crazy with a stretch, but it's all for growing bud. I get scared but I end up with no regrets. It makes the end trimming easier too .

You could always do a couple plants next time on a side by side comparison, some manifolded and some not. I end up seeing benefits to manifolding every time, but it takes a long time for my confidence to catch up. Patience.
Cheers

Yep, that's what I do too. I keep four in veg and four in flower, and start four in seedlings when I harvest the ones currently in flower.

Agreed. My plants really take off when I top them: I let nodes 2, 3 and 4 turn into colas. They barely need any training.

should i feed nutes every week?
i water approximately once a week and am thinking to go nutes every watering

advice

Wow you only have to water once a week? What are you growing them in? Soil? Container size? I add nutes twice a week but i water about 3 times a week.

You can add nutes with all water if you are monitoring and adjusting for EC. This is the preferred way to fertigate in all media.

But you have to manage EC. If you are coming from the practice of an alternating flush, then you will have to start with a relatively low inflow EC and work the plants back up. If this is something you are interested in then I'd be happy to discuss more specific strategy.

As Redwasp suggests, your irrigation frequency is really low. You should work on ways to increase that. This will be even more important if adding nutes to all water. You need to water more frequently than that.
