Proven Grower (Check Signature)
A mate and I have sent bud samples back and forwards across the country to each other since I moved two years ago.
Yesterday when he sent back my hard drive loaded up with new movies & TV series he also sent this bud that someone else he knows grew.
I don't know anything about how it was grown or dried/cured or what strain it is bud I'd say indica dominant judging by the bud structure.
It looks great, decent size nugget and really dense. I have a quick sniff and it's unimpressive, just a faint general weed smell. (yet my current stash assaults my nostrils as soon as I open the jar)
I go to chop some off, pulled a bit off the side and grab out my hand operated grinder that I love from this thread:

Two turns of the handle and the bud has turned to dust, it was completely bone dry which also makes me think it may never have been cured either.
Had a few bongs, no interesting taste/flavour, probably about a medium potency but the high lasted a lot shorter than the stuff I've been smoking from my last grow

To sum up it: looked good, but I'd say it was just grown as a cash crop and not loved properly during the dry and curing process. Still a lot better than other weed I've smoked over the years but looks beat quality in this case.
