So it's been 2 years since I left Cali and a lot has Changed since but I was just wondering I know u can get clones from shops but do they offer fem seeds at medical and recreational stores?
 
So why dnt I hear of ppl doing that? and ordering online is it there lack of selection, the price or maby u can't trust what they say it is ? I'm just curious
 
Everyone has their own reasons.

Many, read most, aren't going to sell seeds and send them even within the same legal State. That's a federal deal and they already have enough at risk without that. Selling them to walk in customers is no more risk than they are already subject to.

I don't see US seedbanks becoming a big thing until Federal Law changes here. In general I find US banks have a smaller selection. Personally considering current laws and the agencies involved I feel it's more dangerous for growers to order from US banks than from another country. Customs doesn't and isn't going to chase anyone down for a few seeds, esp. when they can't get at the supplier. Now with the USPS and an Attorney General that hates cannabis and would love a way to get into States that are currently under some protection, I can almost guarantee that at some point they will be targeting shipments from legal states, it'll just take some time for them to find a pattern to target. But that just my opinion.
 
I totally agree with what your saying I never order from the u.s. banks. I just really think it would be cool to just be able to walk in a shop and buy some seeds I just wouldn't really trust it was what they said it was but it would be an awesome idea for a road trip and I would be happy as long as genetics were good
 
If you're gonna road trip it I would call first. I think some States don't allow seed/clone sales to non-residents.
 
That's what I thought too but I heard recreational places dnt care but u never know I would definitely find a place with strains I wanted and have a friend around from that state to get it for me
 
The Emerald Cup will be in Santa Rosa California again this December (even tho they suffered a huge burn). You can get seeds there. I went two years ago (5 hour drive one way) and got my Tangie seeds. They also had clones, and a whole lotta smokin goin on :)
 
No way! That is a 12 hour drive for me maby more but I've done that a lot of times in my life definitely doable thank u for the info I might take this trip but I doubt I'll have the cash this year
