When looking at LEDs you get what you pay for. The actual watts pulled from the wall is the most important number. For an inexpensive light Viperspectrum work well. But for example their 450watt only pulls about 212 watts from the wall so that is the number you would use. The 212 watts. You can get some nice plants from them though. If you are covering a large area i prefer several smaller lights than 1 big one. You can get alot of bud from those lights if done right. And at least for me they seem to produce more trichomes.

Viparspectra makes good entry level lights. Look for one with veg/bloom switches or dimmer knobs.
