LED Driver question

I am ordering an HLG 260w qb.

I see it comes with the meanwell HLG-240h driver.

It has a single dimmer screw.

I heard that this is a plastic cheap screw and it has a tendency to strip.

Has anyone installed an external dimmer?

Did it work?

I believe HLG uses the “a” version drivers for their kits and they can’t be configured with an external dimmer. You would need to replace the driver with it’s identical “b” version to add a dimmer. For your fixture I think they use the 240h-c1050a in which case you would need the 240h-c1050b driver.
