So willistoned, have you been able to determine the root cause for browning issue? The last photos you posted look exactly like my last two auto grows and now starting to show up on current auto grow. Thought mine may have been too much cal/mag causing lockout but I used kind soil for this grow and getting same issue. It has only happened to me with auto grows so I`m wondering if Chemichael is on to something about autos. Going back to growing photos after this one finishes. Really getting bummed that I have had same issue for three grows and can't figure out where I keep going wrong.

HELP! Leaves are turning yellow and spotting, curling on edges

PuravidaC I tried everything I could think of and was able to stop the progress, but since I changed so many variables, I don't know with 100% certainty what caused it. I think it may have actually been a combination of lockout from nutrient salt buildup and my LED lights being too close when the plant wasn't healthy.
I did a 9 gallon flush in my 3 gal fabric pots after my initial posting and that stopped the deficiency progress in the plant under the HPS. The one under the LED kept getting worse and worse and I started adding a light dose of Cal-Mag+ to all the feedings. I also started watering with 1.25 gal per watering to get 10-20% runoff. At that point, they looked like the pictures I posted above. The only leaves that were affected were the ones in the upper part of the plant that were directly under the LED so I then pulled the light back to about 20". The lower leaves were super healthy and green so I'm pretty sure at that point it was light stress/burn from the lights being too close to an unhealthy plant.
Next grow I'm going to keep the LED higher up and only lower it if the plant is stretching too much.

willistoned sounds like we are in the same predicament. I use a 315 LEC light so I can rule out LED light burn. Grew this time in kind soil so that eliminates lockout. I just don't know wtf!!😠It has only happened to me with my auto grows, all from the same batch of seeds, so I'm ordering new photo seeds to see if that was the problem. It's frustrating when I see others with the same issue but there seems to be no clear answer to be found on the web. Anyway, thanks for your input and have a Merry Christmas!

PuravidaC it's your spring water causing your problems, imo, you need to add cal-mag, when using spring water, or either just use tap water. I still add a little cal-mag, every other watering when using tapwater, not very much ,but a little.
Never had problems when using tapwater or KindSoil.

Thanks D.A.A.S.69 I'll try adding a little cal/mag at next watering. First time growing with kind soil and didn't want to kill off any of the good stuff in kind soil with added cal/mag. Merry Christmas, my frirnd!

Yeah D.A.A.S.69 I went with store bought spring water this time because local hydro guy suggested using spring water and my tap water ph is too high and needs to be addjusted. I only have ph down and Kindsoil says to only use "natural" ph adjusters or it will kill all the friendly microbs in kindsoil. Last three grows have really been discouraging because of whatever keeps causing brown spots and leaves dying. Can't figure out what is the issue. Cleaned the shit out of my grow room after last grow and went with new fabric pots but as soon as flower starts so does the brown out. Have been reading that seeds can sometimes be contaminated with a fungus and last three grows have been the same strain. Just grasping at straws at this point. Going back to photos after this harvest. Have only had this issue with auto grows.

There is so many microbes in your soil, it's almost impossible to kill them all, imo.
That's why I use molasses the whole grow, to keep the microbes happy.Lol
Could possibly be your seeds, like your talking about, but I seriously doubt it..
I also use a little Recharge, every now and again.
If you use good water, with a little cal-mag, an molasses, with your KindSoil, you want be having this problem, imo.
