Hi people, I am new to growweedeasy I am around 5 weeks into flower growing in a 4×4 tent with a 600 watt hps, I have a 4 inch extraction fan and filter but no intake.I have noticed the leaf tips going yellow, I admit I messed up when I flicked because I had the light on in the day so it was reaching 40 degrees celcius in there but I swapped it around and it has improved it can also get quite humid in there usually between 50%-75%. I am feeding once a day with quite a bit of run off (probably around 50%) my ec is usually around 0.8 in res and 1.1 in run off I am feeding:
Canna coco A&b at 1ml per litre.
Buddhas tree Pk 9/18 at 1/4 strength once a week.
Any inputs will be appreciated, thankyou

Are you feeding once a day or watering once a day? If you are feeding once a day with nutrients then that is too much and may cause yellow leaf tips. Even once a week might be too much.Check the feeding articles on GWE.

Thanks for the reply, yes I am feeding once a day with nutrients, so would you say keep feeding once per day but with less run off? Thanks

What do you mean by run off? Do you exess water running out of the bottom of the pot? Having less runoff is not going to change the amount you are feeding which I think is way too much. With too much nutrient you get a build up of fertilizer salts in the soil which impedes the activity of the roots over time. It gets worse as you go, resulting in leaf problems. Try feeding once a week and see if things improve. In between just use Ph'ed water and read the feeding tutorials on the Grow Weed Easy website. That is the expert advice. Not mine. I hope it works out.
