Wanted dirt people to see my set up I'm using a Agromax mother keeper grow tent with 4 Foot T5 6400K Grow Bulb. I've learned the plants love the airstones which I use like Nebula recommends but I found using my 4 ways with two airstones makes good bubbles. I'll veg them in here till the 12/12. So if dirt people are starting now we can compare.
The seeds are dropped in the rapid rooter no transplant necessary. I just need to move the tubs over to my taller tent. The game is afoot.:p

Wanted to add this picture , it shows a light condensation on the cups. That is what you strive for not drops running down the inside.

I wanted to say also when one baby is big enough it will get it's own tub, but for now they can share. light condensation.JPG

I've only grown out doors so I'm new to what you're doing. Is that a tote with cups set in the lid? No dirt with solution down below with air stones? What's it called thanks

Great setup, I can't wait to get something like that going! and what's wrong with dirt lol (I wish I could do hydroponic setup, not enough space) but hey challenge accepted lol I look forward to seeing your bud pictures

DWC- Deep water culture. !0 gallon tote with 5 gallons water just ph'd no nutrients until the babies are a week old. I'll be main-lining having 8 colas a plant.
the cups I'm starting a seed in each. then my tent I'll have 2 totes to care for. under 12/12 . No dirt and so far no bugs

Dirt is great but the hydroponics is a great grow for me ...Bugs like dirt, you can over water, if the dirt gets dry and you miss it the plant is stressed out ..I can go on but my fingers are sore LOL

I've sadly found out Bugs like hydro too. If you create and environment for them, they will find a way in. I can't stress enough, a solid IPM with multiple modes of action to keep your hair on your scalp.

Very nice setup Karlee. I wish you well with your grow!

I won't allow bugs in my area LOL My house is full of plants (house) I don't have bugs have never had any but mealy bugs which someone gave me a plant LOL
I say quarantine any new plants for 2 weeks at least
Thanks Royal Happy Sunday to you and yours

A friend gave me bugs 🐛 before, I was so mad 💢. I never actually told her. I sort of hinted at it, "Oh it's so weird I got thrips, I've never had any before I got this plant," and she either didn't notice or pretended not to. 😡 It's been over a year now so I'm over it now though!

Thursday I put the seed in the rapid rooter today I see sprouts in both. And did I mention I used 2 of my seeds that were damaged in shipping (Thanks Nebula for saying to try!)

I'll stick in one pic hard to see but blown up you can see tap root. sprouted.JPG
I'll get a good shot soon *Happy dancing*
4:30 pm Thursday -8:15 am Monday sprouted

Hi Marlene, do you normally do DWC grows and do you do photos or auto flowers? If you've done soil before is there that big of a difference and is the skill set harder trying DWC? Sorry for all the questions, I've only done soil first grow and if it's easier along with larger yields, shorter time, then I'd be interested in giving it a try.

Hi vet72
I've only bought Fem. seeds for now

My 2 DWC's grows have been great for me this is my third and each time it gets better , I've seen over a pound on 2 plants, haven't reached that goal yet bit I'm getting closer.
-;)
The hydro grow is quick cloning is easy and starting seeds so far 100 percent on both

For not knowing anything LOL Your plants are beautiful no blemishes from doing no no's LOL wow my first grow was effected by up down ph's they all had some battle scars ...yours won't. Keep up the excellent work. Can I call you Don't? LOL

Here is my new baby the other won't be up till the morning. This was the least damaged seed, but I know now they are survivors and just want to make buds!

I wanted to add my rapid rooters were kept in a dark chilly place and I'm still using them , I think it's you don't want them dried out. Mine 8 months later are still moist in the zip lock bag they came in 50 of them LOL
