Just found out we can see what other members are up to

Im using a BNC (bouncer) and a ghosting program, then running a developer edition of firefox 64bit with all connections closed besides the active window ones and always )besides GWE which lacks certificates) use https/noscript/Ublock and Ghostery addons ! Lets not get paranoid again though, being seen is only for other members, not server access admins!!By that i mean not to flame Sirius or Nebula, just want to say that in here i believe there are no threats,in the WWW however, many! Also Will and Sue,you have name, last name and prolly other information on here by choice, hiding your online existence is like running a humidifier with 3 exhaust fans...

I don't think being able to view members' forum activities has anything to do with privacy. Mostly it's about viewing members activities within the forum.
We aren't taking about showing email addresses or contact info of any kind- unless someone went and entered that info in their profile, in which case they must want it public. And if they didn't they should remove it. None of our forum user-info can be considered private info. At least it shouldn't be- because a forum is a public place.
As far as being legal- it doesn't matter how legal we are, nobody here wants to be giving their home address and contact info out to the world.
I'm actually kind of surprised there even are those options in our profile to put in personal contact info. Wishful thinking for a safer future maybe.

Thats the basic phpbb forms..It comes with it!Vbulletin boards have such implementations by default or admins add them piece by piece in the stylesheets...To have it safe we need to keep them analysts and marketing freaks away...Then we just have to remind people that we are being mined for information whether we like it or not and the world or privacy is going to shit! Here's Tom with the weather

Our googling habits are much more likely to link us to something we may rather not. As for this forum, I just blissfully skip along my merry way, with nary a care to mind.

And this is why throw tips here and there hoping people will ask...
