Incredible bulk by dr krippling seeds

First time ever growing this strain...here is what you are looking at. A 400w MH air cooled hood going with 2 t5’s in a 3x3 tent. Week 1 of flower. 9 clones were vegged (18 hours of light on) about a month then I took 4 and vegged them another week or two. Topped once about two weeks after roots first appeared and LST the rest of the time. Trimmed up the side branches for fatter colas yesterday.

4 soil pots into flower (12 hours of light on). All on a drip water system...hand fed once per week with nutes. FF happy frog mixed with FF ocean forest solo cups. Then into 3 gallon fabric containers of FFOF. Mixing pearlite in every step of the way of course.
Full fox farm feed schedule minus the sledge hammer and flower kiss. I added fish sh!t through out the entire grow and will continue until week 6 of 8. I also add black strap molasses once flowering begins. The kind with out sulfur added.

About 6” from the canopy. I’ll raise it a bit the weekend when I switch to HPS after the stretch. I’ll link you to the light distance charts I use.
 
For air cooled hoods I use these charts for light hanging distance. One is for MH the other is for HPS.

It’s nice that now a days we have all the info in nice charts to reference. Fell sorry for the old timers that just had to figure it out the hard way. Much appreciated by all of us younger new ppl getting into it

Yeah, when I first started people were only using MH for indoor grows. No one in the industry had even heard of HPS back then. And getting 1 lb of a 1000w light was considered the maximum.
Can’t wait to see what the future brings.
 
I did a comparison with a Mars hydro 1200w LED to a 600w HPS and MH system. The HID yielded higher than the LED in this case. The spectrum was better on the LED. So that’s why I added the 2 t5’s on the side of my hood. I enhance the spectrum with the t5 bulbs.
This Saturday I switch from the standard t5 veg bulbs to the in flower red bulbs. Then I switch the reds out for UV the last 2-3 weeks of flower.
 
So I run the UV for 15 min every 2 hours durring lights on for the last few weeks of flower. That’s what the bulb manufacturer recommended.
You get an increase in THC at the cost of yields.
