I'm back and I must say I missed everyone

Been off the grid the past year. But I've been busy. I have been practicing defoliation and noticed my yields getting smaller. I grow in soil inside with various LED wattage lights. My last grow I went out there planted 12 seedlings of 8 different strains. I didnt remove 1 leaf before it's time except for cleaning up the bottoms. Couldn't do any LST, or manifold, etc because of space. Besides my 2 tents I ended up using my closet. Lost a Critical strain to vegging after flower but still ended up with 526.8 grams at harvest. Spent 19 days in the Hospital due to a botched Gallbladder surgery so my wife kept them going. She's still learning so I cant help to think the yield would of been bigger. My point is no more defoliation for me. Anyone out there have any luck with this technique?

Can't try that technique - up here in the wet Pacific northwest defoliating is a must. High humidity and lack of wind and summer heat makes for prime growing grounds for all types of mold.

Copy what Canuck147 says, if up here in PNW right about now is prime for WPM/mold. I can't afford to loose 1/2 my crop too much time and effort. I grow more indica but a few sativa. Even though there in the best sunlight and have breezy area it all depends on MY environment. I just grow rec. do it legal and want to harvest great homegrown bud. Cheers Emomajic hopefully your health is good now. Oh I forgot.....some of my strains don't need any defoil. I just remove yellow used up energy leaves. But big bushes for me are a no no. Peace :)

Growing inside so I have the chore of trying to gimmick Mother Nature. Let's just say I'm a bit south of you so I have to remain incognito. Defoliation is not a must so until I see good reason to do so I am through with it lol.Would love to take it outside even though I grow for just myself I would love to have a 10 foot bush with arm length colas.
