Ice bubble hash bags

Hi All I've got a bunch of dry trim and larf that I need to process I'm thinking of making ice hash. Does anyone have a recommendation of a set of bags to buy? Also any tips you may have because this is my first go at it. Thank you.

A local bud and close friend is excited to do the same. Dry Ice is what he's been looking up, this is the recent video he sent me to try and convince me to get setup for it (to then go into the rosin press he'd like me to build).

​I watched it yesterday (among different videos last Sunday), I believe in one they mentioned buying a cheaper set of bags, and were achieving the same results with good longevity.

Cold and quick is the key. The longer you agitate. the more plant materials/green get into your kief.

Yes, correct! I used the 1 gallon bags. Mixed the ice water and trim separately and poured them through the bags. That way I was able to get more product filtered through the smaller bags.

Mixing in the bags never really made much sense to me. It's got to be easier to work with the smaller bags and buckets on the counter, than big bags on the floor. I'll probably give it a try after Christmas; I should have enough trim to make it worthwhile by then.

Nice. It’s fun collecting bigger clumps out of smaller bags. The larger surface area is tough to scrape enough with out loosing too much to the screen.

Toker1 Is it worth it to rinse the screens into the next finer bag after you scrape it and transfer to the press screen? Or does it stick in the screen and need alcohol or something for clean-up?

Speaking of clean-up...All this stuff looks like it works great when it's new. Do the screens need cleaning beyond just a cold rinse? I'm wondering if they could use a trip through the dishwasher, or a blast with the pressure washer after you do a run?

They clean just fine with cool water. The more you use them, the better they become at catching trics.
Yes, wash everything into the next screen. Eliminate lost hash.
