I Love Growing, But Trimming Not So Much

I have a hand crank one .i would make sure they have steel bearings in it , I cut my buds off the stem no trimming at all I spin 30 times one way and 20 the other they come out nice and neet ,if you want closer just keep spinning , I will say that I bought a drying rack to dry on and I weigh out 100 grams of spun bud ,then weigh it again everyday when it gets down to under 30 grams its ready to cure

I have been of the impression that the trimmers did the same thing to the trichomes that it did to the leaves. Is this inaccurate information?
