How to prune these

Hi everyone. Thanks a million for the help regarding the yellowing leaves. I adjusted the nutes and pH and they are thrilled.
Quick question. This is day 32, they look happy but are bushy. Is it better to cut the leaves at the bottom or thin them out?

I think the photos are not loading....

Is this a micro grow or a space bucket? From your picks it looks like your growing in a confined space. If so your light distance may be causing your plants to crowd the spacing between nodes. If this is a normal grow I’d say you have 2 dwarfs on your hands. Either way you need to get the plants to branch out into more open space.

so I *think* I know what happened. This is the first time I have grown with the Aerogarden Farm (this one has adjustable lights). I had a regular Aerogarden Bounty before this with a fixed light distance.

I think I had the lights too close to the plants-- like 2 inches above them so I moved them up to about 6 inches above.

Also, I did some research (please correct me if I am wrong!) but people said to move the lights away to get them to branch out.

As you can see I also trimmed the bottom leaves off.... I'm sure a lot will grow back... hope that wasn't a bad move.

What I also discovered is that the plants had fallen about an inch into the tank!! ! So they are about 3/4" taller now... !!
