well basically i just wanna make really easy for the new growers how to inspect tricomes and to tell apart clear, cloudy and amber ones.

so in this little vid you can see a calix under two different zooms, the first, allows us to spot the amber tricomes, the second one, to see up close how cloudy they are, and in the video they are almost all cloudy with just a few amber.

That's what I've been using. Do you use windows or mac? I use photo boot the app for selfies on mac computers. Take the picture or video from there
 
Looks great. I have been looking for something like this. Too cheap to spend $50. Do you have to use the stand to keep a focal point? That's the biggest issue for me with my hand held microscope. I just get a glimpse of trichomes because of slight movements. Yours seems to have a larger field of view too.
 
yes, it comes with a support, the hard part is to keep it still to take the pics. when on the plant, but getting a sample and analyze it work great
 
hahahaha my computer is filled with pictures of my dog sleeping too :P probably the only thing besides my plants i photograph. hahaha
