How much is your electricity per kWh?

We have a provider and a supplier. Our provider is the major utility company, in our case PPL (Penna Power and Light). We have our choice of supplier. Bill in broken down into sections. I picked the lowest rate for 12 months, didn't want to worry about it every 3 months, but also had no penalty for leaving the plan early.

Just like gasoline prices, I guess electric prices can vary a great bit across the country.

We have cheaper power for hot water & heating/AC which was generated by hydro power. I think they do that because in the winter it gets down to -10C (14F) in some parts, possibly colder (I've only been here for two years). For heating/hot water we pay AU$0.15719 (US$0.12).

Seriously though, I don't know about all states, but in PA there is a website dedicated to comparing electric suppliers. You can get a 3 month plan for a ridiculously low rate, but oops, when the 3 months are up, your rate will skyrocket. That's why I went with a 12 month plan. Or we can just forego picking our own supplier and let our provider pick one for us. It is usually a higher rate, but still reasonable.

no not really.. Iwill need to do the math ( i suck at that) I believe I have equally exchanged the potential of 2 HPS for 4 600 LEDs
