How about just one way to upload photos

Welcome to the forum Tryitagainsam,
Are You uploading from a computer or a smart phone? I use my computer and the only problem that I am having with the uploads is with the orientation of the photos themselves. I take the pics with my iPhone 4, transfer them to my laptop, view them with my viewer program (Paintshop Pro 8), rotate them to the proper orientation (they come in from the phone rotated differently than viewed on the phone), and upload to my post. One of the methods allows You to add commentary, the other, not. I have not tried to do them directly from the phone because, in the past, I have always had trouble with anything on the phone that uses a large amount of data.
I hope that (and I'm they will), someone with greater knowledge about these things, will help out.

I use an ordinary digital camera and I was unable to down load pictures until I changed the pixels from 16m to 8m in the image mode.

I had the same problem just now up loading a my first pic from my s5.

so I Googled it.
thinking I need to change the file format. 1 guy suggested to slightly crop your pic a little and repost that one.

well low and behold my pic is up there.
give it a try.

I got into problems after text, photo seemed to upload from my I pad alright but push post and it says "add picture" with the "!" mark. Frustrating, already add the pix!!

I may go back to using my digital camera, the few photos that I have taken with it have not been any problems with the orientation. It's just more convenient to use the camera in the phone, I all ways have it in my pocket. I guess that it is probably an Apple vs. Microsoft thing

iPad. Writing now saying something
Will tap camera icon
choose up load then choose
I choose photo library as images are on iPad ( that I usually email to myself from my iPhone)
and save images in email on iPad ( goes into photo library)
I choose I image at a time if I want sequence right or choose 4 at a time. In dialogue box upper right it says "done" touch done
and or choose upload more.
Then touch continue to post.

My photo stream works for me.
Firefox works best on iPad and iPhone and my desk mac.

You can see why I'm tryitagainsam......started a few seeds that came off an outside grow last year and not sure if hermie or pollination by neighbors. Plans were Citris sap, 2 plants=26 quart jars. 😜 Planted 4-1/2 weeks ago in soil in 5 gal smart pots. At 3-1/2 weeks I took off first leaf and first node. Week 4 topped them and at 4-1/2 I put them into flower 12-12 under a 600 has. Probably too soon but the structure is stout!! Question: should I trim some of the fans to get more light down into the plant. Wish me luck with the pix
