Aloha,

and welcome fellow growers to my second round of flowering in my perpetual harvest tent.

The last endeavor involved a SOG of 9 Rozay clones I had received from a friend. I had just bought the materials and was in a HUGE hurry to get the tent producing. (I was also excited beyond belief shhhh ) for that reason the clones had almost no veg time before flipping, as well as the tent having many logistical issues that made growing more difficult. I’m glad I put myself through a bootstrap grow just to teach me what I actually needed, what was extra, and what was a waste of money. Due to the haste we lost a lot of light efficiency and suffered on yields as well. Though I’m very happy and thankful for my results from last grow I’m positive there’s only room to improve and increase the quality and yields to follow.

A SCROG 4x4 is what I have been planning since the beginning but due to time restrictions and excitement my first round was a little by the seat of my pants. I went with my gut and previous experience with hydroponic growing and things went really well. I feel that now with a plan I will only increase yields and quality further with each new round.

so ive been so busy lately I’ve barely been able to keep up with my current Rozay SOG Picture Journal. I was so feverishly disinfecting and prepping my tent to restart that I forgot to take a lot of the beginning progress photos. But like usual there will always be some eye candy attached!!!

All these photos were taken on day one of SCROG install. In the photos they’re all freshly weaved and reservoir has just been filled. I did quite a bit of super cropping so I made the decision to do a week of veg in the ten to allow the plants to recover. This post is technically on day two of veg.

Day 3 of Veg but Hurricane Lane is greatly threatening the grow. Hawaii loses power often and when even small storms strike. I hope we do not lose power for long, nor have any serious issues. Fingers crossed!!!!

We are praying for ya all my friend, not just that you all get through this relatively unscathed, but also on the issue of growing, even if the storm does little damage and their are no injuries or deaths due to it, my second thought is on power outages , will be thinking of you guys over the next few. Days

Much aloha my friend. My family’s safety is number one. But I’ve been through many of these that have came and gone so my biggest concern is power outage not only for the grow but the whole property and my company depends on power.

Day 5 of veg and the storms nearly here! Crossing our fingers that we get to see this crop to completion

So the storm wasn’t even a storm! We got some good rain and a couple wind gusts, but nothing we don’t see on a regular basis. Glad everything worked out and we didn’t get hit by a huge hurricane but also very bummed I had to prep so feverishly for a crisis that never even happened...

Well the second I knew we were all clear I began preparing the tent for flower.

The reservoir has been changed, water ph’d, light timer set, and now we’re ready to have our first 12 hour night tonight. Very excited to begin the journey of my first SCROG grow, and I hope to beat my 356.8g last grow. Let’s do this!!

Day 2 of flower and the flip is almost initiated. The girls are starting to recognize the 12/12 cycle and are beginning to reach for the light in a very even uniform fashion. I’m already starting to see the amazing things a SCROG does for an indoor garden!!!

Looking good, glad the storm missed you. Great phase for growing in general and really great time in the scrog cycle. My scrog is just about mid flower now and most of the pruning is done. It's nice to just feed them and watch them for a few weeks after a couple months of training and pruning.
