HELP: New plants stunt growth

Morning all,
Today I just received a shipment I ordered from China about month ago for a full spectrum LED board light 600w with veg/bloom buttons, I was too excited to have it but since it took too long to arrive I had to improvise as my new babies were out for life before the shipment is here so I bought 2 different lights (3*COD LED 50w and 4*40w CFLs which are currently running). Now I'm in confusion, I want to try the new lights that I was waiting for, but I think CFLs doing fine now in their young age. Also I don't know if changing the light type is whether good or bad to my plants. I don't know, I was trying to save my babies then I ended up with 3 different types of growing lights anf costed me a lot unfortunately.
Anyway, I need your expert help now so I don't lose my babies too

How old are they keep them under cfl till about 2 weeks then put them under your new light u can reuse your cfl every time u do seeds or clones plus your cobs can be used as extra lighting in veg or flower depending on light spectrum so u will use all the lights mate hope this helps

It's just ready soil mix not hot soil as far as I know, is there any way to measure the nutrients in the soil to be sure?

does it say on your bag of soil no need to feed for 3 to4 weeks if it does means it full of nutes if your cups are clear it means light can get to your roots and roots like 100% dark so your better with dark cups then your lights cfls use them from seed until 1 or 2 sets of true leaves appear then put plant under your new light right till harvest the cob lights u got can be used as extra lighting in veg or flower or both check the light spectrum of cobs if got more red use in flower if blue use in veg dont know what happened on last post mate hope this helps
i just wrote a big reply somehow went to reply never went through bollocks here we go again on soil bag does it say enough feed for 4 weeks or anything like that your cups are better if dark blocks light root want 100% darkness your plant wont like it if not your lights use cfl from seed until 1or2 true leaves appear then put plant under your new light until harvest your cobs can be used as extra lighting either veg flower or all the way through not with the cfl at beginning though if u know the light spectrum of cobs if more blue use in veg if more red use in flower if they are start to finish lights use through both dont know what happened on other post mate hope this better just message me mate and i help good luck

Okay I understood that I shouldn't use transparent cups for the sake if roots, so what should I do now as they didn't develop true leaves yet?

I think you are doing to much to them, just add about a half cup of ph water once you touch the top of your soil and it's dry. That's it for the first 3-4 weeks except increase the amount of water as they grow. The amount of water is not the problem it's when you water them before they need it that's overwatering. You'll have to transplant them in that time but still just ph water when dry. MJ is a weed it will grow all the way to harvest with just water as long as the soil is at least average quality. The only reason we add so much to them is to make them grow faster and produce more bud but think less is more until you learn to read the leaves of your plants and then you can push them to their limits to get every gram you possibly can. Reading all the articles from the professionals will make you think that the plants need all of the extra food and light but they don't NEED it but of course with all the extra you will get the massive yields you and I want take smaller steps to the top you will get there.
Doing too much, is it good or bad idk! Well the water thing is really confusing me, guys at this thread said water them once every 3-6 days which I think it's little bit excessive as their containers are quite small, some are saying check with a finger knuckle if dry water them and I think this method works with big plants in big pots it's even not possible with disposable cups, now you saying I water when I just touch the top of the soil and find it dry, it will make me water at least everyday. Does there any way to simplify this important part?
Ok yes I think my soil is average quality not super or hot soil that can burn the new babies, so what do you think caused that burn or dead curls in my plant? I didn't add more than soil and water so far.

Dont know about the burn or curls if not light issue or maybe u just got a hot bit of soil not mixed maybe watering what i do is water feel weight of containner then when leaves start to droop check with finger it still sometimes feel moist so i dont rely on finger method totaly i feel the weight of pot and if it feels light water thats the easy way to tell mate if seedling like yours i water with spray bottle couple sprays round plant hope helps mate

The replies to your original post that you quoted above mentioned pH and root issues. Have you addressed these issues or checked your ph now and made any adjustments? If your water pH is too high or too low your plants will show deficiencies regardless of your watering schedule. Your plants can only take in nutrients within a certain range. I'm new to growing myself and I'm still a little unsure if I'm watering enough or too little but my plants look healthy so I'm just keeping doing what I'm doing. From my very limited experience (it's been 4 weeks since I started) where watering is concerned listen to all the advice given and follow it but you have to kind of use your own judgement too. Everyone's medium, plants, containers etc is different so schedules will be different for each person but the basic guidelines are there for you.

It's not check the top of the soil with your knuckle or just touching the top. I didn't specify to stick your finger into the soil up to your first knuckle because it was already said above. I figured that we were past that detail

Picking up a little solo cups to judge weight is not recommended (by me anyway) because there's just not enough difference in weight between wet and dry to tell. But lifting a 3-10 gallon pot there is a big difference in weight so it is a good way to judge. I personally like to check by touching because I have a bad back and it hurts me to pick em all up every day. One more thing to know is every plant will drink water at a different rate so you might water one more often than the other then the next week the other one will want more water, same thing with nutrients and training plants are like people they eat, drink, grow, and look different and that is why you can't replace experience by reading the directions. There is no exact water schedule. I hope this helps clear up why everyone has a little different answer to the same question.

What soil is that you are using ??
