I followed the feed chart and pH the solution to 6.3, the first set of leaves are a little yellow, let's see how it goes

I have a theory, the pebbles are letting light into the system, that's why I don't see the root growth I expected, and maybe I have a solution

The small clay pebbles are substrate that I bought for the aquarium when we bought live plants

I just checked the pH and brought it back down to 5.7, I mixed the nutes at half strength and the ppm is 552, if that's too much what should I do, remove some of the solution and add some plain water??, probably distilled water would be best??

My experience comes from coco/p grows, I like pH 5.8. Idk how or if that translates to DWC. I'm interested in this grow as DWC was one of the options I considered when first started growing. I decided not to run a DWC because of temperature issues. It would need either a AC, chiller, or ice bottles changed out all the time. Grow on.

I think the yellow might be from a couple of reasons the water was too high, therefore the Rockwool stayed too wet and suffocated it at the start, also could be because you haven't fed her anything until now and she is very hungry. I think you need a feed chart for those nutes you using, be easier to know how much of what you should be adding, a count of 550ppm could be made up of not the right amount of this and too much of that if you know what I mean... You gotta get the amount of each ingredient right, then check ppm if it too high then dilute and check pH and ppm again.

Yea it can be a pain in the arse. I went from outdoor grower to DWC indoor, done 3.5 grows and now trying dirt indoor. The first attempt at dwc was surprisingly my best the last attempt I lost a couple of seedlings, had one left, got a few weeks in and nothing was working right so I pulled it all out and started again with dirt after doing some research about it. Having said that, alot of ppl pull it off and pull it off good. bigger yields yea if you get everything right, if not you could loose it all in a heartbeat.

Thats the spirit, perseverance. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Fits with working on cars for me, i curse and yell and sook but I never give up until it's working how I want haha.
