HELP- first hydro build and grow

I decided to try my hand at growing in a hydro system,I have black buckets and lids, bottles of nutrients,duel port air pump, pH and TDS meter and the basket,hydroton and rock wool cubes are coming today.heres the deal,I have no clue what I'm doing, but I'm going to build the bucket, I'll definitely be needing advice and guidance, anyone who grows in hydro please help
 
I'm thinking about getting my 3 x3 set up in the basement again, temp stays around 60-65° in the summer
 
Amazon delivery sucks,got all the stuff I ordered today anyway, fuckin idiots

I recommend these 2 products to put off root rot either way Southern Ag Garden Friendly Biological Fungicide,16oz or hydroguard, they have 2 different prices for a qt, no idea why

Y'all are missing their point.
They tell you tomorrow but deliver today so they can say they delivered early.
 
I dont mind that as much as "your order has shipped" but it hasnt left the building. Printing a shipping label is not the same as "Shipped"
 
Hydro guard is on the way, LMFAO I didn't realize that the basket I got fits a bucket,man I am in for a learning experience lol

About root rot.
Y'all might be familiar with my little 'speriment. I'm not going to buy anything if I get root rot. It'll be a write off. That's the great thing about 'spereiments.
My idea, in my case, is to clean the reservoir and dip the roots in an H2O2/water solution. Y'all's's thoughts?
 
I am following it, I grew some peppers sort of like your doing and I had a lot of root rot but the peppers were great and the yeild was good too. But I agree when you experiment be prepared for a total loss just in case.
 
What did mama say 'bout that boom box? Ain't seen one of those for a spell. Please tell me you can play tapes. Even if there's a CD player, please tell me you can play tapes!
