Kind of the same thing I did with mine, I'm surprised that Platinum doesn't off a fix for this! They are just fine for someone with 10' ceilings! LOL

Awesome solution Tika but has anyone just found shorter light hanging "ropes"?
I guess I can go to the hardware store and make some but I was hoping for an easier solution.

You could make shorter but why? I cut the all thread with hack saw, filed the ends , screwed on the other stuff. I think less labor ultimately. However I would live to see what you create!!!!

Yeah me too. But at least Mark advised on the allthread didn't have a clue as to what that was at the time. sounded confusing but was clear once I started
