I officially HATE ice storms! 2007 we had an inch, power lines down, 1 home had no power for over a week, I still have broken limbs hanging in trees. Many 150 year old trees went down, sounded like a rifle shot followed by the crash of limbs hitting the ground. IF we must have this weather, give me snow!

Just so you know I will not be starting my cup till around the 15th. I'm going up to visit Retodd next friday. He will start his then and I'll make a clone when I get back. I'm not worried about the missed days. I'll catch up quick.

That being said we did start a few at the farm. They are Critical CBD. I'll take some pics next time I go out that way. My brother in law decided to throw some in even though he isnt a member here. He really did it so we could see if we could get that strain certified as required by the state to be under .3% thc. Usually they can be 10% thc but we have a few tricks up our sleeves.

Came back from an all day trip to find all 3 seeds cracked. Into the cups they went and only 1 left for tomorrow as i have to dig out my 3rd growing medium before planting.

All 3 seeds in their little red cups and in 3 different mediums. coco/perlite, clay pebbles/rockwool and easyplug block. Remo Nutrients and under 33 watts of 5800K , 2000 lumens of Led bulbs. 80% RH, 22C

My white widow auto did not sprout yet. I've looked at it just a bit ago looks fine, humidity/heat fine. Here's what I did I took some root gel dropped a "drop" into a shot glass with ph water swirled it around dropped the seed in it let it rest at bottom for a little bit then put back into paper towel wet it with root hormone water sealed back up. I just don't know what the issue is all my seeds in current grow were late poppers, something i'm doing? I'd start more but my tent is over whelmed now. I wonder if I just should put it in the cup with it's dome on and just give it time there what do you think?:doubtful:

I have a 7 day rule with germination, I give it that long and toss them if they don't pop. Some seeds take a minute but the ones that take that long usually give me trouble. Do you use a glass of water the first day?

I'm not sure you need root hormone for your soak. I've always just used aerated, ph'd water.

I don't know how true this is in plants, but in animals, hormones work in very tiny concentrations, and in carefully timed phases of life. Often, too much hormone hurts. Perhaps the excess hormone is disrupting a cellular process that precedes root growth.

Or, it might just need more time.
