guy with card got raided

I know a guy who has an AZ. med card. Saw him today and he got raided last month. His crop had "died" a week earlier. They still took all his equipment, his vehicles and froze his accounts. He said they tried to indict through grand jury but with no plants they were unable. They still have all his stuff and frozen accounts. He says it will cost him thousands in legal fees to get his stuff back. They will not give back grow equipment. He says was worth about $30,000. He said cops were going down a list of people no longer allowed to grow. He said they made 12 raids that day. I wonder what this is really all about. The laws here are so tangled and only benefit a very few.
 
No, it doesn't. Fortunately I know this guy from fishing not from growing. seems like lots of fisherman grow or growers fish not sure which.
 
not sure but MI changed the laws, starting next December. makes me wonder if they got access to the registry...and if thats gonna happen here??
 
The dude said it was from his card but he said some other stuff that did not make sense. From what I smoked with him at the lake he was good at what he was doing. He also had some interesting things to say about local dispensaries.

We have ruined so many lives over this stupid sh.....t......People have died and family's have been broken up....Over this stupid sh.....t.....I really don't believe it......Its crazy.....OUT OF CONTROL.....
 
I have to agree with others that $30,000 of equipment is more than just a personal grow situation. Maybe more to the story than what guy told you? Glad you got a good smoke out of him though. Did he tell you how much product they found on his property? If none, he got rid of it somehow.......selling perhaps?
 
i don't know about that?.......We are all here for the same reason right.......Help in this....We all smoke it, and enjoy its affects on our mind and body.....No matter what he had for equipment it should'nt matter.....He also had a med card.....Go Figuere
 
Grow equipment in itself is not illegal. My neighbor is a battiness and her whole home emits HID light from windows. Why should she hide grow equipment could be used to grow many things besides weed. If that "Poor" guy had $30,000 worth of grow room that indicates to me he had much excess and would be tempted to sell the stuff. I wonder if they were not paying for electricity? Some larger home growers try to by pass the normal hook up. Please send us more info on this grower.

The guy told me his family was in the AC business. He also mentioned he had some connection to local dispensaries. I did not ask a lot of questions we just listened to him rant on for quite a while. He was pissed.
 
All I was saying that maybe they suspected him of selling illegally? Without knowing whole story, it was just a thought.

I agree with you, no one staying within the guidelines as set by their state should ever be raided.
 
I don't blame him for being pissed........but who knows, he may not have been telling the whole story. Like I said in an earlier post, and least you got a great free high out him!!
