Growing and going full tilt No Till

Yes it is the C-O-L-A cola riff that hooked me.
Every plant has the potential to turn hermaphrodite. Different strokes for different folks. Like the song says,That’s the way that I want it to stay and it’s always going to be that way with Lola L-O-L-A Lola

Paracelsus here, I need a quick answer about the Veg light period. Since day 1 my lights have been on 24/7 but this afternoon I have a visitor coming for a housing inspection I have once every 3 years. I want to put the plants in the closet while they are here,

5 hours at the most.

In the unlikely event they arrive on time it could be as little as 15 minutes until they leave. They are giving me a 5 hour window in the afternoon when they will arrive.

What I want to do is put them back on 24/7 as soon as they leave.

1) Will that stress the plants?
2). Will the plant at just less than 26 days above ground go into flower with 5 hours or less of total darkness?
3) Lastly can I go back to 24/7 or do I have to stay on 19/5

thank you friends

I think they will be fine as long as you get them back under light as soon as he leaves ,I use to have my veg at 18/6 and they never went into bloom so I think your good

Ditto. The ladies actually might like a break from the sun, I veg 18/6 also and they always stay in veg.
It takes a week or more of 12/12 on older plants to initiate budding
Stay safe, your girls will be patiently waiting, growing like weeds

The guy came and left in about five minutes the plants were in the dark for about two hours. Before he came And after I have been a busy boy as I had to move furniture and change the set up in the living room so I wouldn’t bring attention to the T5 deck underneath my wine bar incubator LOL . So before he came I lollipoped all 4 plants. Then I put them to bed for a nap. After he left before I moved the furniture back to the way it was I transplanted the three remaining plants into 1 gallon containers with new LOS Living Organic Soil, worm castings and Lobster Compost. When I transplanted them I also had to adjust the light. I’ve got them hanging on Zip ties. I got Rid of the crates and put them inside a rolling drawer that comes in and out easily from underneath the light. I’m going downtown tonight to hear some music so I’m going to leave in about an hour, hopefully all will be well when I get home after midnight.

Lisa Burns, I have known here since I was14. We used to talk on the phone every morning when I first started in the music business

I noticed you get a lot more growth under the 18/6 verses the 24/0 I did 3 weeks 24/0 and a week of 18/6 then to 12/12 for less of a shock switching to flowering and I got the most growth under 18/6 it got smelly but That and the growth is all I got

Its gotta suck to have to do all that extra work just to camo your grow but if thats what you have to do to stay safe then I applaud you , Plants are looking great.

Indoor Temperature 75 F 58% RH

Plants grew like weeds overnight put on an inch or two the lights that I lowered yesterday I had to raise today. I also removed the sliding drawer and lower the plants because I was getting some burnt edges on the a few leaves on 2 of the plants. I don’t think it is because of the transplant because I transplanted one of them last week into the 3 gallon pot.

the first one is looking fantastic the second one looks healthy but why the lime green ?

I hope you dont mind but I will be putting one of the venture tea maker that you posted finally got all the parts in , I stopped in to HTG supply and they had one running ,they give away tea on Tuesdays it was much bigger but worked great thanks for posting it

The lime green one is because that picture is directly under the T5 light maybe the flash was on too. Did you see the burnt edges on the leaves of both plants. I’m not sure if I’m going to leave them on? I believe they will still photosynthesize but I don’t believe they will ever heal either.
Be careful With tea from the store, If it’s not a fresh batch it could be anaerobic if older than 24 hours or have raw compost if it’s less than 24. Let’s see some pictures or maybe a build thread. I don’t mind at all that’s why I share

I don’t think a t5 could burn a plant even if it’s super close to it, I used a t5 on the first plant and had it about a couple inches away till I got my led I’m using at the moment, looks like possibly a nute burn possibly.

I’d leave it till the next set of leaves get bigger at least so you don’t take the energy maker from it.

Well Deadhead91 that’s what I thought too. But I transplanted that one a on March 30th and the others on the 3rd after I took them out of the closet dark for three Hours. I also lowered the lights at that time. They didn’t shoaw any burn at all, nutrient or otherwise, until the next morning on two out of the four plants. I had just lollipop’d them too so maybe they were a little stressed from the transplant, lollipop, and besides moving the light the air temperature and humidity changed somewhat. From the lower 80s with 65% humidity to mid 70s and a 50% humidity. Since after I moved them they have not shown anymore damage to the leaves. Also besides transplanting them into better soil than I started with all I have been feeding them is straight water.

That is so random and probably was a combo of it all together but I would leave it till you get more of the big leaves
